I ordered the rotors and pads first started the installation and found I needed calipers. When everything was delivered I started the installation. After I was finished I took the Jeep out to bed the pads and rotors, after doing that the pedal was still soft. I took apart a rear wheel to check. The brake pads have chunks missing, I have no kilometer on these brakes. I found all the other pads look the same. I have included a picture of the rear pads. I had to purchase new pads locally, installed them all seems good now. Are these covered buy warranty. I would like to be refunded for the pads, I have already purchased another set. I can give you more pictures if you would like. This is not the quality that I'd expect. Hopefully this is a one off. I have sent emails 3 time I guess your ghosting me. UPDATE: I asked for a refund. I've put 15000 kms on my car since installing autoshack garbage struts. One of which had a problem from the beginning and had to be changed again..Both upper mounts are shot. The sound when I turn the wheel makes me wonder when it's gonna let go. I contacted autoshack and they said its out of the warranty window. They only last till the warranty is out. I am very disappointed in AutoShack Customer Service with respect to refunds. I was told by mechanic apprentice what parts to order. He was incorrect, however as he was just learning I understood--mistakes happen. HOWEVER, to get a refund of parts, customers MUST RETURN AT YOUR COST. As my vehicle parts were very heavy, I LOST 1/2 of the refund to returning parts at my own dime--then I have to pay a restocking fee YET TO BE DETERMINED. I guess AutoShack will get my parts back and resell again at same costs--good for them--bad for customers. I think AutoShack is short sighted. I saw and read the eBay ad 10 times! I've never measured a part before placing an order. AGAIN! Your ad states it fits a 3.4L v6 Tacoma! That is incorrect and misleading to a consumer. Just because you have some measurements there doesn't mean diddly! The average consumer has NO idea what size their radiator is until they remove it to install the new one. That is my whole point, your ad leads a consumer to believe the part you sent fits a plethora of Tacomas, when in fact it may fit only a base model 4cyl! I looked at ad again, you have 2 ads side by side, one shows a shorter radiator than the other, but both ads say they're 18" ! THAT right there is very incorrect and misleading! I want the rest of the shipping refunded! Y'all need to fix your misleading ads and your screwed up customer service! When I ordered a radiator locally that was delivered in 30 minutes, that company never asked for a measurement, only make, model, and engine size! I put my car in the garage and started driving my truck. Finally yesterday(after 3 months)I had time to look at my vehicle, first I went to the wheel alignment place, they said the left ball joint was defective and they said that the part should be changed before for the wheel alignment. From there I went to my mechanic and he told me that the left control arm was defective and was wobbly on the right side.I immediately contacted the seller and asked about the warranty of the product, they told me that the warranty period of the product has passed and they can't do anything. I lost 1 tire because of the cheap part this seller sold, I have to buy the part again, I have to spend money on the mechanic again. I had an estimated $500 expense just because of this piece. When they arrived I called AutoShack right away and asked if they could send me out brake pads and I would pay the difference ($20.00). They said no, I needed to order the pads from the site and which by themselves are $30.00 plus shipping costs. I asked if I paid the shipping would they sell me the pads for the $20 which is the cost had I ordered the pads with the rotors. Ordered slotted rotors (according to website specifications) for my husbands Duramax as he was replacing wheel bearings (bought elsewhere) already. Rotors arrived, wrong ones. Contacted "support", which is outsourced overseas, to let them know that we received wrong ones. Quickly was told that it was us, not them, that this happened. Jumped through numerous "hoops" that they "required for the return" and was finally given an RA #. Do not use Autoshack autp parts USA for parts if you need them for longer then 6 months! My upper control arm ball joints have failed 7 days after the warranty was up and they would not do anything. All their customer service representative would do is refer me to the warranty policy. I understand i have 7 days past the maturity of the warranty, but the ball joints didn't just fail randomly today, they would have also been bad 7 days ago. They would not even work out a deal on a replacement part at discounted rate. I filed a customer service complain with EBAY.
