They were not particularly friendly,…read morebut relatively efficient and fixed small problems with my age-old Saab for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, my good impression was recently shattered. I was in the hospital and the car broke down on a Saturday while a friend was driving. She called the ADAC and eventually had it towed to Carparts. I wrote an e-mail and sent them the ADAC diagnostic report. About one week later, I got a call informing me that it would cost 300 euros before they would even *look* at it to "establish what is wrong". When I mentioned the ADAC diagnosis, the man (quite rudely) said "then let them fix it". After a short e-mail exchange, with theirs being contradictory and poorly-worded, I was informed that they weren't interested in my business and I should pick up the car ASAP. I tried calling to discuss what I generously called "a misunderstanding", but was stonewalled by the receptionist. They showed a total lack of coherent communication and were utterly unprofessional. The only bright spot was that when I got out of the hospital and went to pick up the key, I was subjected to one of those classically German cautionary lectures on *my* poor behavior as a customer, delivered by a young mansplainer in a state of high dudgeon. Quite the pre-coffee treat of a sunny morn. So definitely don't recommend.

The communication was very good- I was updated over the phone about the progress and expected bill. I also got fast response to my emails. They took great care to contact me in English and explain everything in detail. Additional issue which appeared later was fixed free of charge- even as it turned out, was not connected to the main one. I am really very satisfied with the carparts & promotor and will reccommend them to others for their honest business practice, quality and great client friendly approach. Unfortunately it's not a bakery, so I cannot say "I wish I could visit you every day" :) But if my car makes problems again, for sure I will not use a different car service in Berlin. Big thanks!
