I took it over at 6:45 am and left him the keys. At 4:15 pm, I called to see what time I should pick it up. Joe had already left. The man I was speaking too did not initially know what I was talking about and then told me that no one had worked on my pickup. I called at 6:15 am the next morning, last Friday to request to get my keys as I already had plans to go out of town. I was driving from Merced to Las Vegas when something told me I should stop and get my oil changed. When I pulled into another shop, they told me they couldn't do the oil change because my car had an active coolant leak. At that point, I was in Bakersfield, hours away from home and still hours away from my destination. As a woman traveling alone, I was honestly scared and worried that something was seriously wrong with my car. Thankfully, I found this shop. David took the time to listen to what was going on and immediately wanted to help. Even though they were busy, he understood my situation and didn't just treat me like another customer. He genuinely cared. That meant a lot to me, especially being so far away from home and not knowing what was wrong with my car. After taking a look, they found that my radiator cap was broken and causing the leak. They replaced it, and just like that, the problem was solved. The relief I felt in that moment was huge. What I thought might turn into a major repair ended up being a simple fix because of their honesty and willingness to help. What really stood out to me, though, was the kindness.
