This was one of the few times that I had used Yelp's project feature to find a mechanic. Robles's auto repair was the quickest to reply and also ended up having one of the most competitive prices. Using the project feature of Yelp allowed me to stay in constant communication with Gabriel. I was kept abreast of the repairs on my vehicle and they even stuck around a little after hours to make sure I could get my car after the repairs were done. That Stockton traffic can be a doozy. The issue with my vehicle was a leak in the radiator that Mercedes said would cost $2400 to repair at the dealership, but with Robles's auto repair, I was able to do it for under $800. The parts in general are not what's expensive just my model and Mercedes has a lot of pieces that have to be removed to get access to the radiator. Now my car is running great and I should be good for a long time. I called wondering if I could have him come out to fix it (I thought labor was covered under warranty). He said it wasn't and started saying that he has never had issues in 10 years and he wouldn't come out because gas was too expensive. I am willing to pay someone (including him) to fix it, but opted not to go with him because he was speaking unkindly and accusing the other mechanic of being wrong. I am disappointed in the service and follow up. I would suggest going to a local shop instead of someone who travels.

I've had the best experiences possible from an auto repair shop that is family owned and operated for more than 22 years with Automeister. Ron, Susan, Dave and staff have taken care of every Volvo that my family has owned without charging us for repairs that were not needed ( which is exactly why we went to these folks in the first place). They are honest, reliable, and give you absolute piece of mind when you take your vehicle to them for service. It's such a rare find in this day and age and one worth repeating to every Mercedes, BMW, and Volvo owner that we know. Their office area is what I would expect (regarding comments made by another on this review) from a repair shop that DOES THEIR JOB. It's their kind of organized and the way I look at it is if they can locate my invoice talk to me about what's needed, ask for my approval before doing the work, then I really don't care as to the state of their work area. These folks have even loaned me their family car at times when I couldn't get a rental. NOW that's what I call service. I currently have a Volvo and live 1.5 hours away. Klent was very transparent throughout the entire process and even showed me videos explaining the issue with my fuel sending unit/gas gauge problem, which was causing my gas light to come on even when the tank wasn't empty. The part took a little time to order, but he stayed patient and kept me informed every step of the way. What stood out most to me was the honesty and integrity. When my horn stopped working, Klent initially believed I needed a new horn, but after speaking further with Tim, he realized it was only the relay. Instead of charging me for unnecessary repairs, he immediately corrected it, located the relay locally through O'Reilly, and had Tim install it the very same day. My horn now works perfectly, and I truly appreciated that level of honesty and efficiency. Another thoughtful gesture was when Klent noticed the attachment for my gas cap had broken off. As a courtesy, he replaced it so I would no longer risk losing the gas cap. Small acts like that truly matter. Overall, I received a tune-up, spark plugs, oil change, diagnostics, and several repairs, and I left feeling valued as a customer. The atmosphere was always warm, welcoming, and respectful.
