It was an easy check in and the staff was so sweet and left a little s'mores kit surprise for his birthday. The cabin had a space to park our car. I liked that we didn't need a key to enter the cabin. They have a keypad entry with a unique code that they set for each party. There's a picnic table and some deck chairs around the fire pit which was nice. The view from the site was beautiful. At times there's some horses that come roam around near the cabins. The cabin itself although small it had everything we needed. There was enough room for us and the two kids to hang out and play while looking out the big window view of the valley. There's one bed and a futon that pulls out. There's a kitchenette that has some basic kitchen supplies. They also provide some coffee, tea, and hot cocoa packets. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit and making some s'mores. Unfortunately, there were some bees flying around the fire pit and our car. My son got stung by a bee on our first day so he was a bit scared to stay outside the cabin for too long. He did enjoy going up and down the hill from the cabin to the store every morning. The cabin is also close to a hiking trail that leads up to their pergola site that has fire pits. Their check in area is also their store. They also have self-serve coffee and hot cocoa. It's about a 5 minute drive into town in case you need anything or just want to explore.

I like that the tents are spaced apart enough and not a super cluster like at curry village. They have a nice hilltop pergola with a firepit to relax and star gaze at night. Though it was too hot for either. There are 5 barbecue spots and the restrooms and shower facilities are awesome. Very clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will return in better weather.

Suggest calling to book as the managers can recommend space based on your needs. We have a 28 Ft Class A and space 116 was perfect for our needs with full hookup including sewer. We didn't need a pull through as we unhooked our jeep during stay. Easy access for backing in and relatively level space. We were there during Firefall last week ( 4 nights ) and there were probably 6 to 10 others while there. I can see in summer that it may feel a little crowded as they are maximizing space to accommodate more guests. Bathrooms very clean and well set up for trash/ recycling etc. Hidden benefits were access to Cedar Lodge amenities with a small store for necessities, bar and restaurant, and a game room and indoor pool. Also, great if you are traveling with friends or family that want to stay in a nice lodge while you stay in the RV or camp. "Orlando" in the hotel registration is a great marketing asset for the compound as he is knowledgeable and very courteous, clearly wanting you to enjoy your stay. We camped at Indian Flat RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our friends had a small trailer, and site was so tight they couldn't put their step out. Had to step out of the trailer into weeds. The only bonus was the quick easy access to the national park.

I had a camping trip to Yosemite National Park planned in September and knew I wanted to propose to my Fiancé while on the trip and didn't know exactly how I would plan this. We are avid outdoor/hikers and love horses. When I found Yosemite Trails Horseback Adventures, I knew that this was the PERFECT place for me to propose to the love of my life. I wasn't quite sure how the proposal would go down to begin with, but Cami and the entire team made the experience unbelievable. I felt like part of the family and cannot thank them enough. They scouted out various different locations along the route for the spot prior to my arrival and communicated with me every step of the way. Jolene found the location on the trail, and was our guide. We did a private trial ride as I wanted the experience to be intimate. Jolene was INCREDIBLE and we cannot thank her enough. She was an expert guide and made the entire experience a memory we will never forget. Jolene took pictures for us and planned the entire proposal location, she was fantastic in every regard. The horses were beautiful and looked extremely well taken care off and loved. The trail ride itself was the best we have been on, and we have done quite a few. It was beautiful, fun going through the creeks and riding up/down the mountainsides. We cannot thank Cami, Jolene and the entire Yosemite Trails Horseback Adventure Team for the memory and experience of a lifetime, and we cannot wait to do it again!
