So I drove here, their computer system was throwing up a few problems, and I had to search it up in their book. Their customer service was slightly dismissive but overall not too bad. Prices are new part prices, so not particularly cheap, as is to be expected. Parking is plentiful. PT access is bad, as is to be expected.

To sum up in a word, "Don't"…read more This business failed on so many fronts in the provision of a reconditioned 100 series engine it was laughable if it wasn't so serious a disaster in service but disgraceful for a business that considers itself a specialist in Toyota's. In my experience I ordered a reconditioned 100 series engine on 10 October 2023. I took delivery of the correct engine on 25 January 2024. It took 3 and 1/2 months. Much longer than the '3-4 weeks production time' that was quoted before being available to my mechanic to install it. I was without a car for this period which was enormously frustrating and costly to work around. Not only that, but despite very specific instructions for a 100 Series normally aspirated manual diesel engine with an hydraulic timing belt, I was supplied with an 80 Series engine along with a manual timing belt which is entirely unusable for my car. After Toylexrus initially arguing that the engine would work in my 100 series car, I then had to arrange a return of the unusable engine block via Toylexrus's preferred courier company which took me to phone them, virtually daily, to determine where the engine was actually situated as well as having to arrange consignment note numbers for my own engine block. Once returned to Toylexrus they then said I had to join the 'queue' to have my original order supplied. No service 'recovery' process for the customer here for their own error. No hint of apology or concern that this service failure would create an issue for me. I wrote two letters to Isaac Family Trust the holding company requesting some type of response but received nothing in return. The service manager who said he had almost 40 years of experience in spare parts was just unable to provide the service without getting something wrong. There are a number of other quality suppliers of engine blocks and I would recommend you check them out before considering using this company. You will save yourself a lot of energy and heartache.

After a couple of really bad experiences with car places, I didn't expect too much from this place,…read morebut they really went above and beyond what was needed. Not being our approved mechanic for our car's warranty, the owner contacted the warranty company to provide them his certifications so that he could work on our car. Being almost across the road from home, it was so convenient. It was our brakes that were worst and the car was virtually not drivable by the time we got it there. It was also in dire need of a service. For $60 they changed the calipers and pads on the brakes and for just another $60 completely serviced it as well. All in one day. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they were even smiling when we went to pick it up. Great service, at a fantastic price, locally. What more could you want?

They found the LH wheel was over tightened and the RH wheel was under tightened. They then over tightened the RH to be same as LH. When driving away the linings over heated, burned and the car stopped by itself. It cost a further $132 at another garage to machine the drums again and have the brakes correctly adjusted. Their action was irresponsible and totally lacking in customer care.

So I drove up to the Repco in Epping (a bit hard to find at first). It's in a rather non-descript building. It's right after the T.G.I. Fridays sign. The store is large and is well-stocked, as far as I can see. I went to the counter and was served pretty promptly. The guy found the part pretty quickly and I was on my way!
