To sum up in a word, "Don't".
This business failed on so many fronts in the provision of a reconditioned 100 series engine it was laughable if it wasn't so serious a disaster in service but disgraceful for a business that considers itself a specialist in Toyota's.
In my experience I ordered a reconditioned 100 series engine on 10 October 2023. I took delivery of the correct engine on 25 January 2024. It took 3 and 1/2 months. Much longer than the '3-4 weeks production time' that was quoted before being available to my mechanic to install it. I was without a car for this period which was enormously frustrating and costly to work around.
Not only that, but despite very specific instructions for a 100 Series normally aspirated manual diesel engine with an hydraulic timing belt, I was supplied with an 80 Series engine along with a manual timing belt which is entirely unusable for my car. After Toylexrus initially arguing that the engine would work in my 100 series car, I then had to arrange a return of the unusable engine block via Toylexrus's preferred courier company which took me to phone them, virtually daily, to determine where the engine was actually situated as well as having to arrange consignment note numbers for my own engine block. Once returned to Toylexrus they then said I had to join the 'queue' to have my original order supplied. No service 'recovery' process for the customer here for their own error.
No hint of apology or concern that this service failure would create an issue for me. I wrote two letters to Isaac Family Trust the holding company requesting some type of response but received nothing in return. The service manager who said he had almost 40 years of experience in spare parts was just unable to provide the service without getting something wrong.
There are a number of other quality suppliers of engine blocks and I would recommend you check them out before considering using this company. You will save yourself a lot of energy and heartache. read more
