It's that time of year! My car was acting up today and I was pretty sure it was my battery. I…read morecalled into the store to ask if they would be able to check my battery and they quoted some battery prices over the phone for me. I went to the store shortly after speaking with someone. Immediately, I was helped by a few kind associates at the store. It was clear my battery was bad, but they ran the diagnostic tool which confirmed it. They recommended a battery for me and another nice worker installed it for me. While they installed it, I asked the cashier if they had any good Christmas gifts in their store, and she recommended some emergency car kits to me. They kindly rechecked the diagnostics on my car to be sure that it was only the battery and not the starter or alternator. Even though I came into the store near closing time, the workers were all very helpful and I was out just in time for them to close on time!

Came in today because my passenger side window was stuck all the way down and would not roll back…read moreup. I was sure it was the motor. Turns out it wasn't -- my tech checked both passenger and driver switches, and it turns out the master switch on the driver side was the problem. I agreed to a charge of $110, which was roughly half part and half labor. Done within a hour. However, once I got in my car and pulled it out of their garage, I parked my car in their lot to double check the switch. The driver side began giving me problems -- it would roll down but not back up. Passenger still working fine. Eventually the driver side stopped working altogether. I pulled back up to the garage, and the same tech came to check it out. He did try to say it was the motor, but once I politely told him that it can't be the motor because it still worked when re-tested with the old switch, he said he would ask his manager. Turns out they did not have any other switches available, so they couldn't replace it with another that functioned properly. The tech offered to roll the passenger window up with their switch, and then reinstall my old switch and refund my money. This was the best possible outcome without having the proper part available, so I agreed. I am extremely happy that a refund was offered without any attitude or fighting. I can't say that a refund will be offered in your particular circumstance, but I can say that this is a perfect example of great customer service. The tech did not act annoyed with me at all, which most other places tend to do when you question their work. The guy who seemed like the manager and the woman at the desk were also very nice. All in all, I think it's awesome that this place has reasonable labor rates and is willing to install the used parts they sell. That, combined with the great service I received today, warrants a positive recommendation!
