I needed reliable transportation that I could feel both SAFE and SECURE in and converse in English easily. The answer for me was Harmony Cars. I contacted Howard at Harmony Cars online and he promptly responded setting me up with transportation from Heathrow to Oxford with no issues whatsoever. Once arrived at Heathrow I was met promptly and easily by my driver with a proper sign and such an easy ride to Oxford. Additionally, before it was time to return to the States, Howard at Harmony Cars provided a nice, personalized tour of London town for me: taking me to all of the sites I wanted to see, the Full Monty: Abbey Road (Howard dropped so much knowledge on me about the Beatles and got an excellent video of me walking the famous Beatles Abbey Road crosswalk,) Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, drive-bys of all the incredible statues, a personalized up close visit to the gorgeous Giraffes at the Zoo, Princess Diana's memorial park and OF COURSE: the best Fish & Chips at Rock and Sole! The worst taxi experience I have ever had. When booking the company had told us we could pay by…read morecard. When going into the office the staff had a casual, unprofessional air. Our driver seemed surprised we wanted to put our bags in the boot, and left us to close it. Before leaving we checked about the card and he told us he had no card machine, that we would have to pay in the office. He then took us to the wrong place, seemingly unaware of where a major, well-known hotel near their office was located. He then went in the wrong direction again and did not seem to consider that it was his responsibility to know where to go. We had to guide him at the end. When we arrived he left us to get our bags out of the boot ourselves.

A good thing is that my phonecalls are nearly always answered quickly - and politely. They always seem to have cars to send quickly unless its last thing on friday/sat. The cars always come on time, if not, only a few minutes late. its a small local car service so we always give give then a little slack....so overall very pleased, 4/5 stars.
