My friend found a 98 Camry with 89,000 miles very clean, nice riding car. $4200. I bought a 2001 Camry with just over 100,000 miles, also very clean, very nice riding car. $4700 The "98" had a check engine light 2 days later (O2 sensor, common problem on these cars...) and a weak battery by Friday. The next morning Mike replaced both the battery and O2 sensor. No questions, no problem. The ''01" also had a check engine light come on a few days after receiving the car. This was a transmission code. I thought to myself this is going to be a problem. The only problem I had was the 60 mile ride to and from Mike's shop. He had the car fixed within 4 days and ready for me to pick up. Mike and his son Jake are two down to earth guys who do the right thing! If your looking for a used car these guys are definitely guys you want to talk to.

After being referred to Performance Automotive by a close family friend in my late teenage years,…read moreI've been taking my vehicles here almost exclusively for the last 20+ years. Not only are they quick and accommodating, but also priced appropriately. Never in all the years of going here have they tried to sell me anything that I didn't need. When I bring my vehicle in for a specific service, they may occasionally (and thankfully) point out an area of future concern, and in every case they have been correct. I will continue to use and recommend Performance Auto (and Towing) to my family and friends for many years to come.

Tim called me to tell me about this. Estimated cost $10,000-$11,000. He suggested that I call M-B and see if it was under warranty. I did not have an extended warranty with them but called anyway. Found out that this is a special situation that is covered.....all parts and labor. I felt bad that I wasn't able to give Roundel any business so I texted Tim and told him to give me an oil change. He called me to say that an oil change will be part of the cylinder head replacement and that to do it through him would be a waste of my money. What a breath of fresh air this company is. In the future they will get all of my business. Thank you Tim & Roundel for your honesty.
