What can I say, Steve is the best. Our car broke down while traveling through KS, just outside…read moreGreat Bend. AAA was no help really. It would have taken hours to get a tow and they had no idea where to take our vehicle. Called a couple of shops. Our vehicle was a Honda and there weren't too many Honda dealerships in that area. AAA gave us the number of a Honda dealership but when I called, it turned out to be Honda motorcycles, not cars, but he was very, very helpful ( I think that was Great Bend Honda Kawasaki). He suggested Steve at Steve's Auto repair & Tires because he did good work and he really knew Honda and Toyotas. Called Marmie Dodge and they didn't have time to do the work but they were able to tow our vehicle to Steve's. We were at Steve's merci but he had it fixed and going in no time at all. We arrived at his lunch hour but he stayed and got us going. He went above and beyond. He really knows his stuff and didn't rip us off. Very knowledgeable and a nice guy too (and so was his wife).

I am so grateful for the amazing attention to detail, transparency, and record-breaking turn around on replacing the necessary parts under my hood to get my pets and I back on the road and heading home. Jordan and the entire Team is amazing! The knowledge and expertise here rivals the big cities and their compassion is priceless. Incredibly reasonable value for the parts I needed replaced and labor. The most miraculous thing is the fact that everything was handled on a Monday morning, all the while juggling the other repair work the cars needed in their full garage. These guys are a true God send; I am forever grateful and blessed that we crossed paths! Thank you small town America!

His prices are extremely reasonable and I've had a repair that actually cost $20. He put in a transmission for me that I brought in for less than $300! Ten years later when I passed through he asked me about that transmission because I had brought him a used one. His shop is small so he doesn't have the high tech equipment that some repairs require but he'll let you know. He also doesn't have the means to accept credit cards but he let me write him a personal check and didn't ask for ID.

I live in Dodge city and went in their shop in Larned with my dad to look at a vehicle FOR HIM. We…read morewere pleased with how nice and friendly the staff was at first. I happened to peak into a vehicle and my dad asked if he could see it. The sales guy brought out the key and let us test drive it. My dad proceeded to ask for the price as the car he had originally went to look at did not work out and only had enough cash to purchase that one. When he asked for the price the sales man immediately started filling out paperwork as if we were trying to purchase the Vehicle. We told him and his manager MULTIPLE times we wanted to leave and we did not think the vehicle would work for us. They kept insisting and pushing. I understand they are just trying to sell a vehicle but I felt VERY pressured as they would not let us leave even after we told them we would think about it. They kept asking why we didn't want it and going round and round about getting the car. They then offered us to take the vehicle home and they would pick it up the next day. My dad and I had no other choice but to agree to this because they would just not let it go. We brought the vehicle home and the next day I called both the sales guy and the manager to please pickup the vehicle as I was still unsure if it was a purchase I could make at this time. THEY KEPT INSISTING YET AGAIN AND WOULD NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! They then proceeded to say they wanted us to take the vehicle back, when at the dealership they SPECIFICALLY told us that was something we definitely did not have to worry about. I was unable to take the vehicle back because I would need someone to drive me all the way back to Dodge City, and my dad was at work. After me telling them I could not go alone they asked if I could meet them half way because another customer was wanting to purchase that vehicle. They even said they could pick it up if they needed to but they never did. The sales guy even had the AUDACITY to ask why I wouldn't get a new car if I had mine for 6 years! NONE OF HIS BUSINESS!! I then receive a message and missed calls from the sales man WHILE I AM AT WORK, saying they were on their way to pick up the vehicle. WOULD BE NICE IF YOU GAVE ME A HEADS UP. I AM AT WORK!! I very nicely let him know I was at work and would be home at 1pm. He proceeded to insist they pick up the vehicle NOW. So inconciderateee!!!! I was honestly really going to consider purchasing the vehicle if they wouldn't have pushed it so much on me, and would of been a lot nicer about things. I do have every message I exchanged with both the sales man and the manager. I also do have their names. Don't think I will ever purchase or go into their dealership ever again!
