Bill Strawn is a very easygoing, laid-back, honest mechanic. Being in a small town he's not usually too busy even though he runs a one-man shop and he usually can get the job done the same day. His prices are extremely reasonable and I've had a repair that actually cost $20. He put in a transmission for me that I brought in for less than $300! Ten years later when I passed through he asked me about that transmission because I had brought him a used one. His shop is small so he doesn't have the high tech equipment that some repairs require but he'll let you know. He also doesn't have the means to accept credit cards but he let me write him a personal check and didn't ask for ID. read more
