Herr Heinecke used to be a Saab specialist so he can probably work with those pretty well too. I regualrly took my BMW to him for oil changes and other repairs that I could not do myself. I never once felt that he was trying to scam me the way I do when I go to Auto Mechanics in the US. They accept VAT forms. For nearly any kind of repair, Heinecke can almost always have it completed within 24-48 hours. Only Cash is accepted, which can be kind of a pain. Herr Heinecke does not speak English, but his wife speaks decent conversational English and communication with her is easy. She told me that when they were Saab specialists, they had a lot more American customers. I reccomend that you bring your own parts and fluids to save money.

He was even able to get me the last two tires for my Shelby that has been discontinued by Michelin. He went above and beyond and searched through warehouse stock throughtout Europe until two finally popped up, ordered them immediately and got them on my car within a week of findinh them. Ive referred all my friends to his shop and he is hands down a good honest mechanic and runs a great business. He doesnt upsell his customers, offers great prices, and gets your car taken care of in a timely manner. I completely trust him with my cars and you should too.

After a few unpleasant experiences with smaller garages, I finally brought my car in to Bermond and ended up paying less for exactly the same repair (replacement of the bumper). I was not only happy with the price, but the service was friendly and efficient. Bermond is a family enterprise which can be felt right through all aspects of the place. By the way, if one has to wait, one could do worse than read the books on display that deal with the history of Wembach, a village close by, explaining the reason why so many names in this area are of French origin. I went back when the next service was due, and it was done to my complete satisfaction, even finding and eliminating a fault that had already confounded three other car mechanics.

Called ADAC for a tow and was lucky enough to get Auto Riegel Mainz Kastel who was the towing…read moreservice who responded. Never got the man's name who initially reached out via WhatsApp to confirm my scheduled tow, but he was awesome! He was very communicative, coordinated with my schedule and even called the car place to discuss it in German to ensure they had a spot available to park my car. The day of the tow (the next day) he messaged me up until the tow truck arrived at the interim location. The tow truck driver was also amazing! Literally had my car hooked up, pulled onto the truck, driven to the new location, and offloaded in under 30 mins. Very quick, efficient, and careful. Fabulous job...I'm from the US and I've never seen anything like it...America needs to emulate this!!! Thanks Auto Riegel for making a bad thing just a little bit better!
