I suspect that the windshield has not been positioned properly. Everytime the car goes over a porthole, the windshield squeaks. 2) My rain sensor stopped working. After getting it checked at my car mechanic, I found out that glass doctor forgot to put a jell pad that goes between the windshiled and the rain sensor. Not sure how they can make such a mistake. I haven't got back to them for the squeaky noise, will give additional comments about the revisit experience.

This company through…read moreincomplete install caused water leaks through my window frames in my great room that I never had before and caused water stain damage to my expensive silhouette blinds and then they refused to fix it by trying to blame it on me. I had 13 window insert replacement done and a glass shower door install. The measurement on the first shower door that came was wrong and I had to wait days for the replacement which then ended up coming late that day due to incorrect shipment logistics from their store (it was heading to Ottawa and I'm in Toronto) . They also re and re'd my window inserts and did not silicon the corners causing water to pour in on the first big rain fall. They realized their fault and came out a couple days later to caulk the corners. Meanwhile they never chose to address what would happen with all the water that ran down my blinds. I videoed the water flow the day of the rainfall and you can see it running through my blinds. There are now light brown stains in the corner of my blinds and when I called them about it they blatantly chose to say I caused it....shameful business practice Colleen.

Their price is very competitive; almost 1/3 price lower than the quote we got from a body shop. We provide the credit card to order the glass ahead on time. Then the glass is replaced on the same day when the glass arrives. They deliver the fix nicely and we saved a lot of money. We are happy for all visits.

The first call was to Accurate Glass on a recommendation from a friend, we left our info with the receptionist and she said someone would get back to us the next day. Two weeks later we called and told her to take us off the call list. Second place was Barrie Metro Glass , I emailed them and they emailed back and said to send pics & measurements, I specified that we wanted to have someone come and take a look at what we wanted in person, so we never replied to that email. the call to The Glass Doctor was the best experience, right from the initial phone call answered by a very friendly person with interest in our call , she said she would have someone call the next day. Bill called as she said & set up an appointment for that same week. He came when he said he would, listened to what exactly we wanted, did all his measurements , chatted with us for a bit and gave us the estimate, that we were surprisingly happy with. He said it would be three weeks, but I think it was only two. They called to say the glass was ready and would be here for install on Friday @ 9:30 and he was . Bill & his coworker Aidan worked hard to install , they did have a bit of a struggle but not due to any fault of there's. When it was all completed( they had completed all by noon!) They cleaned up the area, cleaned the glass & explained everything we needed to know as far as cleaning the glass. They made this job seem so easy . I decided to get my rustproofing and window tint done at Uniglass Ziebart on the recommendation of a family member. Jody, the owner, was friendly and helpful from the start. When I booked my appt, they had a special which included paint protection (a good coat of glossy wax). It was much cheaper than the gimmicky device my dealership was trying to sell me for rustproofing and the cost of their window tint. I have to take my car in to Uniglass Ziebart for annual rustproofing touchup so I have them re-apply the paint protection at the same time. Aside from some very minor surface rust spots, my car looks like brand-new. Every 2 yrs, I get an inner clean service which brings back the 'new car' smell. I've also had the pleasure of dealing with Chrysta who has been really great. The inner clean and paint protection was approx. $270 with tax. Well worth it, in my opinion, especially because I'm going to enjoy car-payment-free months for many years (if I can help it) and this maintenance goes a long way.

After inspection they show you the stone chips around you windshield so they are not held liable for making the chips.
