It took a week before it was looked at, and a couple more days before it was ready. My car still was not idling right, so I took it to a different shop. Today I paid $102.17 to "relearn the idle". I did some research, and I found this procedure has to be done every time the throttle body is replaced. This is what they replaced, but they did not relearn the throttle. This error cost me $102.17.

That same day, I gave the shop a telephone call about two hours prior to their closing time, and they told me to stop in. I made my way to their shop, and they determined that the crack could be fixed. In fact, they completed the repair in under fifteen minutes! Two cracks in different areas of the windshield were found, and both defects were almost invisible after their work. After taxes, the charge was a very reasonable $76. The staff were all very accommodating and polite. I was impressed with the depth of knowledge of the technicians employed there. I especially enjoyed petting and rubbing the ears of the dog that one of the employees had there inside of the office. (It's a good thing that I like dogs!) The facility itself is easy to miss. The area in front of the building is cramped, but there's plenty of parking located on the far side of the property. I left the state to return home and within two weeks the transmission fluid was once again leaking profusely, and being out of state I had to have another mechanic once again re-do the job (properly this time). I've been trying for days now to work out a refund of the work Midtown Auto did, as it was done improperly twice and I've now had to pay someone else to fix their mistake, but despite all the promises of the mechanic calling me back, he never does. I'm still trying to get my money back from them, so I cannot recommend that anyone else spend theirs here. Edit: I did receive the refund finally, which is appreciated. However, the lack of professionalism in not returning my calls for a week and the work failing twice to the point of endangering my car still leave this shop as a Don't Recommend from me.
