I had a Jeep hood painted at this shop in May 2025. In less than a year, the paint is already…read morefailing--there are swirl marks throughout, along with bubbling and sections where the paint is lifting off the hood. After bringing it back, I was told the bubbling and peeling are due to a previous paint job not being properly prepped, and that they will not cover it. However, this was never mentioned before they painted it. At no point was I warned there could be an issue or that additional prep (such as stripping the hood) might be necessary to prevent failure. A professional shop should identify surface issues and communicate risks before doing the work--not after the paint fails. Instead, they proceeded, and now I'm left with a defective paint job in under a year and no accountability, despite being told they offer a lifetime warranty. If you're considering this shop, make sure you get everything in writing--especially regarding prep work and what their warranty actually covers--because based on my experience, they do not stand behind their work when it matters.

I dropped my car off here to get work done and was told everything would be handled properly…read more Instead, it turned into a complete nightmare. My car sat on their lot for three days with no updates. When they finally called, I paid nearly $1,000 and went to pick it up--only to realize they had left my doors unlocked the entire time. Because of that negligence, someone went into my car and stole everything inside. To make matters worse, I was told that none of the cameras on their lot were working, which is unacceptable for a business that keeps customers' vehicles overnight. After everything that happened, they only reimbursed me $40, which doesn't even begin to cover what was taken or the stress caused. Since then, I've spoken with several people around town and learned that this isn't an isolated incident. Hearing that others have had similar issues with care and security only makes this situation more frustrating. To top it all off, my check engine light came back on just one week after the inspection, which seriously makes me question the quality and reliability of the work performed. I paid expecting professionalism, security, and accountability--and received the opposite. This business showed a complete lack of responsibility when it came to customer property. Save yourself the stress, time, and money, and take your car elsewhere

A huge shout-out to Roger Seltzer, an outstanding Service Advisor at Renn Kirby Kia. Over the past year, Roger has been incredibly understanding, kind, and determined to resolve every issue with my Kia Sportage -- and there have been quite a few challenges along the way. He consistently follows through on his promises, maintains complete transparency with no hidden costs, and has always been a man of his word. Roger works closely with me to address every concern while keeping repairs within my budget. I purchased a high-mileage vehicle that has required several minor fixes. No matter the situation or how frustrated I feel, I can always reach out to Roger for honest advice and practical guidance. His customer service has truly been exceptional. When concerns first arose -- before I had owned my Sportage even three months -- Roger was remarkably patient. He listened attentively as I shared my frustrations and offered thoughtful suggestions to keep my vehicle running smoothly and safely. Most importantly, he helped me keep the car I love. When I was ready to trade it in, Roger's efforts and understanding allowed me to continue driving my dream car. If you're seeking exceptional service, I highly recommend Renn Kirby Kia -- and specifically asking for Roger Seltzer. He truly makes all the difference. Jack Giambalvo Kia is a bit closer to my home than Renn Kirby Kia, but I will continue to travel to Renn Kirby to get the quality service/repairs, as I know that Roger and his team will provide to me.
