As I realized it was closer to me, it was an easy decision to come here. And Akins service center was kind enough to make an appointment for me. It's right by the Home Depot and easy to find even though all the signage isn't up yet since they just opened last Thursday. I was warmly greeted as I walked in. Everyone was super friendly. From start to finish it took just over thirty minutes to rotate the tires and change the oil. The facility is all new and beautiful. There is plenty of customer seating and even a great work station. They were so fast I didn't even have time to use it. There is a complimentary beverage center with coffee and sodas. I loved that the wall between the waiting area (which is very large) is all glass and you can see the work being done on your vehicle. I think Akins has a huge winner here. I will definitely be getting all of the oil changes done on my son's truck here. I'm a happy customer.

They do that here and said they would check them for free and let me know what everything would cost before I made the decision to change them. For a 2014 Jeep Patriot, it was $140 to get oil changed, new air filter, and new brake pads and rotor on the front tires. I mentioned that I was thinking about trading my car in and the mechanic offered some advice about how to get the highest trade in value and gave me recommendations for a vehicle that would be reliable and good for biology field work (I'm a biology grad student).
