Worst fitting product ever! Looks like the factory worker was drunk, blind, or just plane stupid when it was cut. Some edges have extra, as expected, many ateas are cut wavy and not enough material. Don't know how they stay in business. They used to be good. Not sure whjat happened. Two different vehicles. Mats for a 62 Covette... did not fit. They fit my 59 Vette.. which has a diff floor pan shape. I called... their resp[onse... I should have noticed that the mats for a 62 Vette were the same part number as their 59 Vette. What !!!!! Why would I even look at a 59.. I was buying for a 62. It was only by coincidence that I also own a 59 and could point out them that their 62 mats were incorrect. Carpet for 64 Caddie; 3 times I had to return and replace. Backing folded over on itself but still glued in. Backing off center so bad that 1/2 of one side has no backing under it while the other side the backing was hanging off the side. The 3rd attempt I said I will glue that backing myself. OK.. got carpet not glued.. fine... but carpet has a hole in it !!!! You would think by the 3rd attempt the would at least give it a good quality inspection before packing it. read more

I bought a carpet for a 99 Dodge 1500. I bought it based on their ad that it was "preformed" and might only need trimming at door edges!! What a misleading crock of BS!! This doesn't even come close to form fit!! And, it had a streak of their spray glue on it. Its under the seat area so I can choke that down. I laid my old carpet over it and pinned it down and trimmed along the upper area where it's the hardest. I've already started with it so I can't send it back, that's on me, but their ad is total BS, and I'm sure they know it. I bought a vinyl floor kit for my 2012 Chevy Colorado. I installed the vinyl last this past Saturday, November 21st, 2020 and I have to say that I am very pleased with the mold. I was informed prior to purchase that there would be trimming needed and the cutouts for the seats and such would need to be completed. Overall, a medium mechanical skillset would be needed to install. The results were great in my opinion. read more

Bought a carpet kit for a K5 Blazer. Bad fit and even worst customer service. I contacted the manufacturer who really makes the return policy for all distributors which is the most complex procedure known to man. They did nothing and said to go through the distributor. Yet the distributor tells me they have to ask the manufacturer on every single aspect of a return. Save yourself a headache and stay away from these guys. And the carpets fit short, so if you decide to use them plan accordingly. read more

I have a 1969 chevy El Camino and twice the carpet was stamped off center I was told that there was nothing wrong with the carpet being 4" short on the back side... I bought a "custom" vinyl floor kit for a full size Bronco and for what I paid I feel totally ripped off. The molds on the vinyl were all off, the wheel well covers and front section were the worst! No holes anywhere, LOTS of trimming required, making the vinyl even more difficult to install. The insulation I was sent with the kit was the wrong one! It was labeled for a '60's Chevy truck! I had one miserable time installing the kit and trying to make it work! For what I paid it should have been at least near ready to install! Never again. Making matters even worse, they're difficult to get a hold of and customer service is not helpful. And once you make any modifications to the product (which you must to install) then you can't return it even if you're willing to pay their "restocking" fee. Horrible! read more

Was really excited to order an ACC Essex carpet kit for my classic Bronco. Arrived fairly quickly and was packed in a nice custom ACC box. But, upon opening and inspecting the carpet I found four quality problems. 1. There was a tear in the carpet near one edge along the piping. 2. The piping was deformed and just sewn in place giving a poor finish - this was in the same location as the carpet tear mentioned above, so obviously the tear was there prior to piping, but they didn't care. 3. They got lining material stuck to the top surface, so now there's a blob of this rubbery plastic stuck on the carpet. 4. They didn't pay attention to the carpet grain between the front and rear pieces of carpet. This results in visibly different shades of carpet when viewed from various angles. This is extremely disappointing considering these people boast of their quality and the cost is more than $400. Cannot recommend them and will not buy from them again. read more

Bought a floor carpet set for my '55 Ford station wagon. Tore out the old carpet and quickly found this kit from Auto Custom Carpets doesn't fit in my car. While they had the hole for the dimmer switch and gas peddle correct, nothing else was right. It doesn't fit at all! In addition the carpet doesn't even go under the front seat. With this quality workmanship how do they stay in business? No recommendation here....buyer beware! read more

i bought a carpet set for my 1963 ford falcon from dearborn classics they buy from auto custom carpets there was a piece of the front carpet that was bunched up i called auto custom carpets they didnt want to hear it so i called dearborn classics we sent them pictures ant after many phone calls and e mails the finally sent me a return shipping label another two weeks went by i then got a phone call from dearborn and they agreed to sent me a new carpet in four weeks i said ok in five days the new carpet arrived wow when we opened it same thing i took the car to a professoinal carpet installer we installed it it is terrible all bunched up i only wish that i had marked the carpet that i returned i swear they sent the same one back terrible company wouldnt reccomend them to my worst enemy read more

Terrible experience. Carpet was great quality, but not the right color. When I asked them about the difference in color. They said that they don't take returns and it is stated on there return policy on their website. The return policy is hidden in the website, but they were right. It was there, well hidden. I placed an order for an ext cab s10 carpet, and received a regular cab s10 carpet. After calling 8 times finally getting through to a service representative, whom was rude and disrespectful "talking down to me" . I was rudely informed that i must be blind, because " we clearly state, that ALL returns have a 20% restocking fee and the shipping is to be paid by the purchaser." This seemed to be worded as if they have this issue frequently. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND any purchases from this company, if they gave me the wrong one the first time around whose to say it will not happen again after return. As for the quality, who knows its for the wrong truck. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. read more
