I was able to schedule our car for service the same day. I was able to use one of the rental cars while the work was being done and I was informed when they brought the car in and looked it over. They sent pictures and found another item that needed replacement and asked if I wanted to add that to the repairs. Once the technician started on the work I received a text and when the work was done I received second. Great customer service here. They're very personable..I went here on recommendation from a friend and had good luck a couple times until this past time. They charged me $100 to RUN A CODE on my car and then send me to the BMW dealership for service because they couldn't fix it. They even had the audacity to ask for referrals and to check a new car out for me (presumably for another C-note) prior to purchase. Save your money. Go to the dealership or someone capable. Nice people and friendly smiles don't offset the ridiculous charges they tack on (like $100 cabin filters that weren't asked for). I let it slide before but this one reached me. read more

We have been frequenting Euro Care Plus for years. They keep my ten year old VW with over 200,000 miles and a three year old Volvo in top-notch condition. If they cannot do the work (like rust repair) they refer me to someone who can. They are the best mechanics I have ever come across, we drive from Burlington, VT now just to use their services. They are friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, priced incredibly well for European repairs, and EVERY SINGLE PERSON IS BEYOND HONEST. I can honestly say Gary Rondeau is one of the best Volvo mechanics there is, definitely the best I've ever been to. Never again will I get my service done anywhere else. You'd be making a huge mistake getting your Volvo serviced somewhere else. His shop is about 40 minutes from my house but I'd go to him even if I lived two hours away. Here's a breakdown of my experience. I really only spoke with Gary himself but he speaks very highly of his staff and I certainly believe him. Anyways, I was having some transmission troubles that I couldn't deal with on my own so a friend of mine recommended I call Gary so I did. I couldn't be happier. I called Gary maybe 15 minutes before his shop closed on the Thursday before memorial day weekend and explained to him my problem and even though he told me he was completely booked until the following Friday he would try his best to get to my car ASAP if I was able to drop it off at his shop. Knowing that he's one of the most knowledgeable Volvo guys around I decided to drop it off even though I expected to get the car back on Friday the earliest. Really I had assumed I'd have it back by Monday but I've heard such good things I decided it was worth the wait. But then to my surprise I got a call from Gary the next day and he said he took a quick look at my car and found that there was a lot of movement in the engine bay and I needed a new upper torque mount. He then said he'd have to get the car up on a lift to inspect the transmission itself. So then I went up to his shop on Tuesday (they were closed on Monday due to the holiday) to meet with Gary and grab something I forgot in my car. I casually asked if he thought he would be able to get it up on a lift before Friday and he re-assured me that he would try his best. I was hoping he would be able to but I wasn't expecting it, I didn't want to get my hopes up. But then again, I got a call on Wednesday saying that he got it up on the lift and found that the lower torque mount also needed to be replaced and that he had already replaced both the upper/lower torque mount. He took it for a test drive and said all the problems I described were gone. I went up to his shop later that day and picked up the car and paid (very, very reasonable pricing) and almost a month later the issues are completely gone. The car was returned to me in the same way I left it. I can't remember for sure but I think the seat was even moved back into the position that I left it. Either way, it was very clean and out in-front of the shop when I showed up. I was going to write this review right after I got my car back but I kept putting it off but then I got a call today from Gary where he asked how the car was doing and if I had any questions. Him taking the time himself to call and check up on the car itself made me feel like I really should take a few minutes of my time to write a review that he really does reserve. All in all he's a stand-up guy that runs his business in the way that all business should be run. It's clear that he has a real passion for Volvos too, he isn't just some mechanic. Don't take my word for it, next time you need any work done give him a call. You won't be disappointed! read more

I brought my 2004 Audi Allroad in since it was severely leaking fluid from the rear main seal and bellhousing area. A different shop told me the rear main seal was leaking, but they were unable to find parts and perform the repair in a timely manner, so I took the car to Auto Care Plus. Auto Care plus looked my car over, replaced the rear main seal, told me it was no longer leaking, but then informed me that my transmission front pump was dripping fluid from the bellhousing area. I was without my car for weeks and spent nearly $3000 at this shop and when it was finally "finished" I still had a major transmission fluid leak. They should have been able to catch this while the car was apart. I asked the technician who worked on my car if he checked my transmission fluid and he stated that it was overfilled. However, when I checked it at the shop I worked at, following the proper procedure, it was 2 1/2 qts low! I also discovered a broken ride height sensor arm as well as noticing the whole vehicle sitting lower in the front, and I am unsure if my air suspension was put in jack mode before my car was lifted. I am very disappointed and expected more from a shop that specializes in European vehicles. They tried to upsell me a bunch of unrelated things like wiper blades, cabin filter, etc when I made it clear that I was concerned about was the massive leak coming from the back of my engine. I am hoping the management at this shop can make it right and help me get my issue resolved. read more

needed an alternator replaced which they did 8 weeks ago, had them price match merrimack street volvo which they were higher priced than. i find out 8 weeks later they never replaced the alternator belt which is frayed as it's the original. they never replaced the 150k mile alternator belt when replacing the alternator!! admittedly did not replace a frayed belt.. do not take your vehicle here they are overpriced and clearly do a half assed job. this place is not owned by gary rondeau anymore!! stay away! read more

Service at Rondeau's is great! Friendly staff, fast service, and cherry lolly pops for the kiddos. My parents have been going to Rondeau's for 17+ years, and now that I have a Volvo, I drive down from Plymouth to get it repaired at Gary Rondeau's. Do NOT go here. We frequented Rondeau's for quite a long time. Until stuff started to go wrong with our cars. Rondeau's was incredibly defensive and rude about everything. My husband finally brought his Volvo to the dealership, where they told him that Rondeau's had severely messed up his emergency brake. So upsetting! Avoid this place at all costs. Or you will end up paying the price. read more

It disturbed me to see the negative review (from a woman who only seems to write negative reviews). No one knows more about cars, especially Volvo's, than Gary and his crew. His customer service is excellent. They give you an up-front honest estimate and notify you if anything changes. And being greeted by a few furry friends never hurts either. I first learned about this business from a friend whose judgement I trust last time I was shopping for a car. She has been buying and servicing her Volvo's at Gary's for 20 years. This past August, I had a collison with a deer on the highway, and I thought my trusty old Volvo (205,000 miles) had met the same fate as the poor animal.
