I thought I had found a good auto repair site.. Nope I took…read moremy truck in for brake work. I left my truck on a Friday, they drove me home and picked me up when the job was done. Turns out, Only the rear brakes needed service. I drove to Barrie and returned. The brakes were rattling and grinding on the rear left. They are closed all weekend so I could not use my truck and till I took t back to them on Monday. I could reach under the back of the wheel and 'shake' the caliper. They put it up on the rack and discovered the mechanic(?) who worked on it was either drunk, high, or simply incompetent. The two bolts that hold the caliper were never re installed when the caliper was replaced and it was just hanging and rattling around. Had this fallen off the the brake piston pop out, I would have lost all brake function. Sure they put the bolts back in, but this job was incredibly sloppy and potentially dangerous. I doubt if I could ever trust this shop to do anything now. Just a heads up warning.

I got 2 more years out of those brakes, and Marshall's charged $0 for the inspection. They have driven me home/picked me up many times. to the person's review of driver calling in sick - what can you do about that? small family business! You do have to wait for appointments at times, but that is because they are good, honest and fair. If you don't need work, they will tell you. These guys, you can trust.
