She took all my x-rays, quickly and fully understood that it is not a pleasant experience. She was upbeat and sympathetic to the fact that no patient enjoys the x-ray experience. She reviewed my old films with me and then went through the new ones talking about areas of concern that she wanted to review with the dentist later in the appt. During the cleaning Crystal made sure that I was ok with the water pic cleaning method, in case I hadn't had it done before. She was gentle, quick and thorough during my cleaning. The best part of the experience was towards the end with the dentist and the hygienist in discussing what to watch for the health of my teeth and that they agreed with me to a conservative approach vs. doing unnecessary work "just in case". I appreciate this the most b/c it shows they care about my health and not just the bottom line. The last best part of the experience is that they have tv's on the wall AND the ceiling - with cable, allowing me to be distracted during the whole appointment which kept me relaxed. I've had dental work done for 30 years, so I'm always a bit nervous about what they will find next, and the tv helped keep my mind from worrying. I recommend heading here for your dental needs. They have a parking lot, are easy to get to off of I-95, and have a great staff!

My previous Dental Hygienist (DH) Kristen Greene was fantastic. She identified some perio issues early on, took them very seriously, we applied a plan and got results. Incredible Dental Hygienist: About 12 months ago I met Henry, the new DH and though sad to see Kristen go, he was outstanding from the start. Very well informed, diligent, thorough and consistent each time. On my most recent visit he pointed out the improvement seen after I made an electric toothbrush part of my routine and he's always very pleasant. It's like going to see an old friend that is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about dental hygiene. His cleanings are the best and to date I have no perio issue except for a few spots we're watching. Great Dentist: On my last visit I was disappointed to hear Dr. Tesis (sp?) had moved onto another practice closer to home. He'd been empathetic and detailed in past visits and it's always a little worrisome to initiate another doctor/patient relationship. But by the time my appointment with Dr. Mike was over all anxieties were washed away and I'd had a thorough and well-informed assessment on my teeth, a lot of which was new information about the positioning of my teeth and the problems that might ensue if not addressed. I was able to make an appointment rather quickly, within a week. The lady on the phone seemed a little short and annoyed. Didn't bother me, I was just happy to get in.... I go to leave, stand at the front desk and the rude lady at the front said "You're all set" and I said "well what do I do next?" Then some tall guy walks up and asks what I need? Had to stop taking it the next day as it caused more pain and #3 was a pain medication that I never got filled. I recognized it as a medicine that my doctor told me to never take as it reacts with something else that I take. After seeing that, I'm like damn now the dentist is trying to kill me. He definitely didn't do a proper consultation. Maybe my appt time was interrupting his lunch? I would never recommend Reliable Dental Care in Orange . They have another (main) location in Waterbury and looking at the positive reviews for that location, the dynamics must be totally different. Even on another platform, the Orange location doesn't have the best reviews. Maybe they just don't care... I see why this location was basically empty (there was 1 senior leaving as i came in.) I'm not exactly sure what they do, and it seemed like no one but the dental assistant was happy to be there or work. While in the chair they asked her what she wanted to watch. She said Bluey and Bluey it was. They gave her a pair of cute sunglasses for the bright light and she even picked her toothpaste flavor. Everything went so smooth. The prize wall was the best part of course. She chose bubbles. I Highly recommend this office for your children. They also have a no cavities wall. My daughter was excited to see her name up there. The staff is polite, they do a reminder call as well as text so you don't miss your appointment. After I had one panoramic x-ray, I suffered a week long headache. They don't have the oral cameras, and they use a Canon hand-held for taking pictures of your progress; it is a painful and disgusting process. They never clean the cameras; sure, they wear gloves but they still touch the patients and the buttons! It is not worth the trouble. Go somewhere else. I recommend Levy Dental in New Haven. You will see what I mean when I say that Rosenberg's office is in the stone age when you visit Levy's office. One word for Rosenberg's office: Sucks.
