Message to say a parcel stuck in transit. Parcel left at our office & address on file keeps showing wrong address. Please complete delivery process by adding your correct shipping address & paying the extra fee of delivery (2.99AD). It further says Australia Post will always protect your details. this email sent by AustraliaPost, 111 Bourke St. Melbourne. If yuou have any concerns, or don't think you should have received this email, please call us on 131318. Visit auspost.com.au for further information on our online security. I don't recall I have anything on order, & very seldom order anything now because of bogus deliverers & scams. To stop this we need to all go back to face to face shopping at our local shopping centres.

I am disabled so I had to catch an Uber to the location where the staff there said that the postie had carded heaps of items to the wrong post office and that my items were actually at the one 150m from my home so I caught an Uber there. The postie also lied about the date, they put 1 dec when it was actually 4 dec that they carded my items. I spoke to Australia Post and the guy who answered my call was great but the supervisors were not. They said they will reimburse for postage (my items were free postage) but not for the two Ubers I had to catch to get to the wrong post office. They are aware that I am disabled and that it was the fault of their postie but they don't care. They said that it is Australia Post's policy not to pay for transport when their staff make a mistake. The guy who answered the call really fought for me but the supervisors would not budge. Paul Graham CEO is in a position to change that policy but has chosen not to. He is deliberately tormenting disabled people which is a hate crime and won't accept responsibility for the actions of his staff. He is too cheap to repay someone $23.62. Who risks their reputation and is happy to be known as an abuser for the sake of $23.62?

After I moved house I patiently awaited my mail redirection to kick in.... a week went by, two…read moreweeks... by the third week I realised something was wrong. Not a single piece of redirected mail had been received and I started getting emails and calls from people saying my mail had been returned. I contacted Australia Post via email and the customer service team responded within a couple of days, asking for more details. The email exchange when back and forth and (I won't bore you with the details) and in the end I was told to fill out a form and go in to a store to lodge it. I visited the new business centre on Elizabeth Street. These guys are open Monday to Saturday and after hours you can still post things and pick up parcels - a winner when you work funny hours and can't get to the post office. I ended up being in store for 45 minutes and if it weren't for Eileen I may have thrown a tantrum. Eileen was the customer service representative who helped me. I explained my issue, gave her my forms and all the reference numbers I had. We looked together at the email exchange, my original receipt for mail redirection and she asked a lot of questions to get to the bottom of what had happened. She was as confused as I was and then proceeded to spend 25 minutes on the phone to the Australia Post call centre to get to find out exactly what needed to happen so I could be assured of my mail being delivered. It seems that I had landed myself in one of the most complicated mail redirection scenarios ever (apparently something to do with moving from big CBD apartment buildings where the building numbers aren't REALLY the number represented in the sorting system) but Eileen remained calm and patiently worked through the issue and asked enough questions of the person on the end of the phone to make sure we had everything in place. It's not common to find great customer service anymore but I was super impressed with the service I received from Eileen. 5 stars.

Its a reasonable sized outlet where you can get your errands done. Provided of course that you can actually make it down to the post office within thier restrictive hours. Printing supplies and paper to0! Except for the two hours of lunch break "doom" when the Que stretches for miles, almost sometimes to the front door. All your usual items for post are available to but including packages and parcels to send. Express service available too. As much as one can expect from a post office. Some mediocre gift ideas too.

Firstly the hours are only 9-5 weekdays although they have just started opening on a Saturday (10-1:30pm so there is some chance of picking the parcel up). However if the original card is not dropped off so you don't know it is there and then they are shut the Saturday a week later due to public holiday it doesn't occur to them that it might be worthwhile holding onto a parcel and returning to sender on the Monday instead of returning it on a Friday. I mean everyone can get to the post office during the week between 9 and 5 can't they?

I went here expecting the wait because I wanted to take a passport photo and plus I forgot that I should've had my license and other documents with me to apply for a certificate instead of in the car. So I went to the counter and the guy there nicely took my photo and told me (surprisingly) that it'll be ready within a minute or so until then I can go and get all the documents that I should've had with me already. By the time I came back, the person who had taken my photo called me all the way from the back of the line and finished the rest of the process. I had never seen such a level of respect and high level of service from anywhere let alone a post office. So that's why this place deserves a five star and the guy, probably a raise in the salary department (Thanks to you).

Not ordered stacks, but rambling mounds. I'm sure the health and safety inspectors would have a field day. Despite this, they've not yet misplaced or lost any of the packages I've sent or received. Something about their system just works. And the staff are extremely helpful. I came in on a Saturday to check for a parcel I was desperately waiting for, and although it was yet to arrive the older chap who works behind the counter offered to let me come in before opening on the Monday morning to check again. That's pretty good customer service in my book. They've got all your standard AusPost goods, plus extended services like passport interviews, so I say skip the shiny clean post office on Lygon and head to this one instead.
