It feels a lot like one of those pubs that appeals to the daytripper up here, particularly with the architecture, and of course of lovely beer garden down near the river. It is a nice pub, and it certainly has a lot of atmosphere about it, and in fact, feels that it is the original pub from up this way. The other thing that stands out is that it does have a nice selection of beers as well though the service, well, it wasn't the best, but it was still good.

As for a pub it actually isn't all the bad, and I found that the staff were actually quite nice as well, though of course, as can be expected, the beer choices on tap were actually rather limited.
