I can't say enough about The Australian Hotel to do it justice. We held our pre-wedding Welcome drinks here last Friday and ordered their party platters also. The food was incredible. They had a great range of vegetarian options and a combination of fresh, cooked, and fried foods to suit all of our guests' tastes. They set up the top veranda for us with white table cloths, water jugs, chairs for the kids and elderly. The staff was on top of everything, taking drink orders so our guests didn't have to trek downstairs to the bar, and kept topping up the platters so we always had fresh food. They were attentive and ready to take orders without getting in the way. The hotel has been renovated recently and it shows. Everything was spotless, super clean including the bathrooms. If anyone is considering having a get together of any sort in Gympie I (& I know all of our guests would agree) highly recommend checking out The Australian Hotel. read more
