As with all post offices, there's a lot of weird gift things, which seem to be quite expensive for what they are, but I suppose someone must buy them, or they wouldn't have them. In this day of "do everything on the internet", it's good to know how useful Post Offices are (and probably good to know now, so you'll know where to go when your computer/internet breaks...)

As I have been dealing with this post office on a regular basis, they now know what packages to look out for on my behalf. The staff are so attentive and friendly, it makes it very easy to deal with them. The post office itself is quite small, but they do have all the basic postage needs required such as the boxes, packets, sleeves, bubble wrap, envelopes, stamps etc. However, because it is quite small, there normally is only two staff behind the counter and during lunch time is can get quite busy. So be sure to expect this at that time or come earlier or later in the day. Conveniently located next to the Oxley train station and plenty of parking space in the area.

A fairly small post office, there always seems to be a long line reaching the door no matter what…read moretime you visit. Usually there are two registers open which is convenient though I would estimate you need about 20 minutes to get your business done here. It is a standard most office offering products such as packaging, office stationary, gifts and some drinks/ confectionary however a scratchie/ lotto kiosk has been awkwardly placed near the entry doors which just means it is more crowded. Staff are knowledgeable enough with different size/ satchel requirements though can be a bit grouchy at times. Not much else to say except there are lockers out front and don't bother ringing because the phone has never been answered.
