Combine lazy couriers with undermanned shop and we have the queue you can see from space. Part of the delay in service today is to convince patrons to fill out a form to get a red card with a QR code. The horrible attitude from workers. The manager is mean and rude. Very unprofessional. They "lost"(…read moreas they said) my parcel cost me $10k and even were not bothered to help to find it until I called and wrote to the main office post-Australia complaint department. The manager just told me that it was my problem and kicked me out of the post office. He told to personnel not to serve me. It is not the first time when this happened. I have called the police. Two days later they found my parcel, and it was no apology. They just tried to steal it and make it despaired. A note was lost as well. That I was waiting for months thinking it is not going to be delivered. So, I started to investigate and found a note in an unusual place. They just wanted to rip me off, but it did not happen. Not recommend anyone to deal with them.

It feels weird reviewing and giving 4 stars to a Post Office! But it's the best post office I've…read moreever been to so the review is justified. I felt like I was walking into a post office of the future. It was incredibly advanced and clean, and heaps of bright space unlike the tired looking cluttered space full of junk in other post offices (this one still has the junk that I don't understand why post offices sell but it's neatly stored). There are a range of electronic post options, including a vending machine that sells envelopes and parcel sleeves, a self-posting area which generates postal receipts upon dropping a letter or parcel into the box, and electronic parcel lockers. There's still the traditional staffed counters for those who are scared of the new technology. It would be 5 stars if it's opening hours were better!

This is one of the few post offices in Sydney without massive queues…read more Well, maybe I just got lucky on the days I've visited, but this little PO does seem quieter than most. That said, when I went to renew my passport, the staff did not fill me with confidence that they knew what they were doing. I had all my forms ready, and they said I'd have to make an appointment with the Department of Immigration first. Given this was an Australian Passport renewal, I thought that was rather odd. Anyway, I won't bore you with the details: the important thing for anyone to know about a Post Office: this one is not too busy! Bonza.

One great thing about Strawberry Hills is the package pick-up has super long hours... (the hours are different to the Post Office itself.) I can't remember exactly, but the package pick-up counter may open as early as 6.15am and close at 5.15pm. Nice. Also, the back-of-house staff (who handle the package queue) are very friendly, so the whole experience of picking up a parcel is more enjoyable than you might anticipate. As for the inside of the Post Office itself: it's the usual ... yes, you have to wait in long queues, and yes, the staff inside are a bit stern.
