They got my air ducts spotless, explained everything they were doing and recommended future steps, but not in a sales pitch sort of way. I knew I had mold/mildew that recently cropped up due to a menacing squirrel problem a few months back, which resulted in a tear in one of the ducts we were unaware of. DJ and JJ were extremely professional and knowledgeable and gave me the reassurance I needed that the problem was taken care of, also confirming they didn't see any other holes in the ducts. I am a little late providing this review, and can confirm that the problem has been cleared up and has not come back. Nice to have clean air in my house again, and would definitely recommend this company if you have a similar issue.

AdvantaClean showed up promptly at the appointment time. Both men were dressed professionally and were very polite. I took notice too that they were very neat around our home taking care to protect items that might "get in the way". As a mother and a home owner - for 8 years it's been on my mind to clean the lint collector behind the dryer. FINALLY it's done - and not a minute too soon. I found in one night - that running the air conditioner on 73 is keeping the house as cool as it did at 68. The technician showed me everything that was collected from our air ducts and dryer exhaust tube. AND the super air scrubbers turned our home into hospital quality air - and in just one day I can see that the dust that used to settle on everything after a good dusting the day before is gone. WOW! Well worth the price and piece of mind we now have that our air ducts are clean of 8 years of dust and pollen. NOT to mention that our dryer is now safe again. They were having trouble getting the water to work in one of the sinks so they tried hooking it up to all of the sinks and scratched up both of my faucets, then they attached it to my washer to get water and did not connect it back securely so it leaked all over my floor and I had to pull the carpet up in there. What a disaster. They were rude too.

If you value your time and sanity DO NOT use ServPro contractors to repair the damage to your home!…read more The team that comes in to clean up after water damage, etc is great, but the delays, miscommunications, bad subcontracted labor, poor workmanship, lack of supervision or follow-up, all under the "management" of ServPro contractors will have you wishing you had just hired a construction company to do all the work. EVERY step of our process has been a problem. We only needed LVP and tile placed in an approx 2100 sq ft house and lower kitchen cabinets. We are now on month SEVEN waiting for them to complete this. From flooring being installed incorrectly, movers damaging our furniture, cabinets not being painted or installed correctly, countertops installed upside down, plumbing needing correcting . . . literally everything has required multiple trips to complete and/or repair additional issues created. I tried reaching out to the owners at month six via email, but they could not bother to reply and I had to speak to someone in the office after 3 additional phone calls. We are still no further along. I suppose as long as the insurance checks go into their account they do not care how long your home is in disarray or how much frustration their team creates. There is no accountability and no recourse, although it was offered that they "just stop working" . . . Gee thanks.

So he told me he checked on how much a fan for my outdoor unit would cost and first he told me $2,600. I told him I couldn't do that right now either. He then said he would give me a discount and make it $2,100. I told him I couldn't do that either and he said, "how about $1,000, or how much can you do now?" I told him I would have to think about it and he said he would look for a used motor that would be cheaper and he would call me back with a quote the next day. He never called back. Today I had an independent service fix it and it ended up costing me $740. *

We requested a quote from Angi's List for an HVAC tuneup for a house we recently bought after 8pm…read moreone evening. Less than two minutes later we got a call from T Byrd's asking for confirmation that we needed their services. Within five minutes from this call, our service tech Dave texted us to confirm an appointment window the next day. We we already super impressed. Dave texted the next morning and said his first job ended early and would we like him to arrive sooner than his appointment window. Yes! Again, impressed. Dave arrived and was courteous and professional. He did a walk through in the house and pointed out tips and tricks with our floor registers and the main return vent. He then went to work on our heat pump in the crawl space. He showed us how dirty the air blower was and cleaned it. He also showed us how much debris was in the bottom of the compressor that he also cleaned out. We needed a couple of new parts and he educated us on what they did and how the motors on both units work and how have to work harder when dirt and debris impede air flow. We got a reasonable quote for duct cleaning in the near future. After Dave was done we could notice an increase in force of heated air coming out of the registers from the heat pump. The previous owners occupied the house the previous 10years and it seems doubtful they did any HVAC maintenance during that time. That's probably a big reason why the heat pump needed some new parts. We highly recommend you call T Byrd for speedy, courteous and friendly service at reasonable price! Certainly ask for Dave! He also went beyond expectations with his HVAC explanations. You'll be glad you called.
