History

Established in 2017.

Austinburg Music Academy was established in 2017 when founders and music instructors Christina George and Garrett George relocated to the Greater Cincinnati area. Shortly afterwards they installed a grand piano and began establishing relationships with local schools and families. Since opening in August 2017, AMA has served many students from ages 3 to 70.

Meet the Business Owner: Garrett G.

Garrett holds a B.M. in Music Composition from Biola University and has attended the EAMA Nadia Boulanger Institute in Paris and the Upbeat International Summer Music School in Milna, Croatia. He was a Semi-Finalist in the American Prize in Composition and a Finalist in the Lake George Music Festival Composition Competition. He is currently pursuing an M.M. in Composition at the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, where he also teaches music theory to undergraduate music majors.
