She is exceptional…read more I'm her first client to sign up for her online training program, which I did because I live in Santa Cruz, CA and she lives in Austin, TX. Without qualification, I recommend Courtney if you want to get fit on so many levels. Online is perfect for me. I don't like going to and fro a gym and I'm most comfortable in my home, taking a mere, yet essential, 45 minutes out of two busy days to workout with Courtney. The results over the span of three months are notable: I'm 69 and deal with a sore left hip and achy joints, needed to lose some weight, and had a progressive lack of motivation to exercise and eat well. Today, my hip is still a candidate for replacement, but the muscles around it are so strong from the core and hip strengthening exercises that I can take a 15 mile bike ride, no sweat. And my body has changed: I see a pronounced waistline and in my abs definition; I feel leaner muscled thighs. Went clothes shopping and fit into pants I wouldn't've earlier. I do Courtney's stretches for ten minutes every morning and drink water. I can get off the ground in one smooth movement. Because of my bi-weekly workouts with Courtney, I've created boundaries around this precious time. So empowering. And with her coaching, I've integrated biking and walking with my dog into my exercise schedule. I've moved from nearly sedentary to very active, almost athletic again. Courtney's way of teaching works so well for me. She has grace, wisdom and generosity in not only her choice of exercise sets (which I love because she alternates exercises so that I don't physically or mentally tire from too many reps of the same movement), but also her affirmations and suggestions for overcoming specific blocks, like craving sweets at before bed or travel slipping. I do what she says and I've internalized her kind, clear voice. She created a toolbox for me: snack recipes, an exercise chart, info on calories, and more. I've lost 8 stubborn pounds and want to lose more. So I've decided to stay on, but in a different form. My final online, face to face workout is this week, and I've decided to continue to work with Courtney through her Accountability Program, in which she sends me a workout for each week and we check in, with limitless access to her via email or text.
