I offered to Miss Young to pay for a new sign for us to share by the highway as long as I retain rights to certain portion of it. Miss Young agreed, but didn't want to use my lawyer, and insisted I use Carol Ann Barron. So, I contacted Miss Barron and described the arrangement we wanted to officially and legally establish. Miss Barron accepted the job, quoting $300 paid up front as a retainer to complete the work. I paid it, and a few days later, I received an agreement document from Miss Barron which she and Miss Young were very eager for me to sign. The agreement specified that I would pay for the sign, and that was all; I would not retain any rights to any portion of the sign whatsoever. If I had trusted Miss Barron, that she produced what I asked for, and had just signed the agreement she gave me, I would have been legally bound to pay for a new sign for Miss Young without receiving anything in return. Not only did Miss Barron and Miss Young collude to try and trick me and essentially steal from me, but she did not produce what she agreed to produce, yet retained payment for it. This is outrageously unprofessional and completely unethical. I am shocked at Miss Barron's conduct in this situation, and I cannot think of anything else to try and warn others.
