I work with natural stone as an artist and I consider myself harder to please than most for this reason. That said, I've always been happy with overall process of getting exact measurements, slab selection, fabrication and installation. Pricing has always been fair and upfront without any surprises at the end. My latest project involved removing an old/worn kitchen sink (see photo) and replacing it with an identical/new model. I was quoted what seemed to be a fair and reasonable price. As with any project, there can be snags and unforeseen challenges and this was no exception. Instead of taking one man a few hours, it required 3 guys approximately 12-man hours. Despite the difficulties, the crew was always polite, professional and determined to do their work with excellence. Never did they rush simply to get the job done and go home for the night. The following day, I spoke with the owner Erin who was fully aware of some of the challenges her crew experienced and time spent on the project. But, instead of changing our verbal price agreement to cover her labor/material costs, she honored her word stating how important customer service is to her and her company. I cannot tell you how impressed I was by her integrity to do the right thing for her customer despite losing money on this project. Amazing!!! As a homeowner, this is the type of company we are all looking for and so rarely encounter. Recently had new granite counter tops installed to replaced older granite counter tops. I received…read morea call early one morning advising granite would be installed that morning. I had not received advance schedule or notice and had not had plumbing disconnected. Installer asked if this was new construction and when I advised I was replacing current granite, he said that was not on his work order. Then he asked if I was removing granite? I told him I was not and I would them to remove. Then he said he would need to contact the office. Office later called and said they would need to charge me additional amount to remove granite. I had made no secret to the salesperson that I currently had granite and was replacing it. No mention was ever made there was an additional charge outside of what I was quoted. So I reluctantly agreed to the additional charge. After granite was installed following day, the installers did not caulk the demarcation line from the granite counter tops and the backsplash. When I asked the installer, he said it was not his job. So I had to hire someone to caulk the line around the granite. Seems like that would have been part of the job..... I felt customer service was lacking and once paid, you are on your own. In addition, no one ever called to ask if I was happy with the installation and product nor if I had any questions. I expected more and was sadly disappointed.

I feel EA stone completely dropped the ball on communication, execution, and accountability. * They completely botched the installation of the backsplash and tried to blame me for their mistakes. Ultimately they did fix the backsplash after a lot of wasted time and unnecessary debate * They caused extensive damage to my cabinet paint during installation - their response: it's on you * They used a grinder and took big chunks out of the side of my cabinets: their response: it will be covered so it's acceptable * They cut the kitchen island top 2 inches two long which left large open gaps on the sides of the island. They refused to fix it. I feel that EA Stone left the job unfinished, caused extensive damage, and when confronted, they made excuses, deflected, and ultimately blamed the customer. They left a huge mess of quartz dust throughout the house with zero attempt to clean up. I feel that EA stone failed every step of the way - and while everyone makes mistakes, I would not recommend doing business with them due to their compromised integrity and respect for the customer.

The bad was dealing with the owner, to do some minor repairs. I was accused of being passive aggressive, because I touched base on Zane's website, reminding him for the 3rd time, that I still needed the job completed. The second time was while we were voting for the Presidential election. He had ample time to input a reminder on his phone calendar, to reach out to me. I waited 3 weeks more and contacted him on his website....merely reminding Zane...nothing aggressive, or rude, just a reminder. His response? I was passive aggressive!!! I would find a company that is glad to provide excellant service. Funny...these companies are all too talkative before they get the job. Yet seem to make rude remarks when you need 15 minutes of their time for a simple repair. The real kicker...he lives maybe 1 minute away. I pray that others that live 15 minutes away, or more, get better service. There are other companies to consider. ​
