Rubbish battery. Died less than 2 years old.
Then they refused refund. Tried to charge me nearly $80 to replace my less than 2 year old $284 Deep Cycle Battery. Even now, still have not got full refund, even though I am entitled to a full refund for a Major Fault under Australian Consumer Law.
Do not buy from them.
If you have a dead battery, do not rely on their stupid pro rata warranty, and rely on your rights under Australian Consumer Law for a full refund.
Any doubts, call Fair Trading and Google rights for refund under Australian Consumer Law.
You are likely to have to commence proceedings in Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal to get it. they would not pay until I sent them my draft QCAT Application, seeking full costs (because they rejected by reasonable offer of compromise, slightly less than refund). This helps you be entitled to claim full indemnity for costs from the date of their rejection. Airfaire, accomodation to travel to Brisbane, bring it on.
Ask around, these are rubbish batteries and Battery World are testing loads of them after they fail. Absolute rubbish. Their website claims a Design Life of 12 years. All sorts of claims. They are rubbish.
