I was served by Jamil who was by far the BEST salesman I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. - he knew the vehicle inside out, from design, technology, manufacturing, comparative models, specs, etc - he showed us all the features of the vehicle - he even went to the trouble of showing me how I could connect my phone, use voice commands, integrate video from my phone and use maps - on top of that, he even showed me the vehicles around the dealership that were in the colours the model was available in Stop of his experience, knowledge and high level of customer care, he was polite, professional and genuinely passionate about the cars - which may sound like simple qualities you would expect to find from any salesman - but after previously working in the automotive industry and having just visited 12 dealerships (across various manufactures), Jamils service was far superior to any other experience I've had. NO ONE picked up their phone and if they did, they advised me that they could not send a mobile mechanic out till later afternoon or next week!!!! I called S & V and a kind young man answered and told me he will be there in 30mts!!! He came down and fixed my car, which was a fancy computerized system that i would not know how or what to do. He instantly diagnosed and fixed the issue. Car started and driving perfectly. Thank you so much to Bruce from S & V automotive for coming to the rescue. Like many of the dealers around Parramatta, the parking can be a nightmare. In order to drive into…read morethis place you need to negotiate a narrow alleyway and hope you don't meet another car on the way out. The salesman was very accomodating. Apart from the endless offers of coffee, time was spent looking at colours, options and at one point a car was brought down from another yard for us to look at. It is a difficult job when you don't have what the customer is after. We were very interested to buy if they could find a car that suited us and were told that there was probably only a couple of thousand in wiggle room in the costing. After getting our costing we went home and did our homework only to see that there were other dealers who had what we wanted and it was at a much reduced price. Out of courtesy, we phoned back and let them know we were going to another dealer. This is where things turned a little sour. The wiggle room turned into a gaping hole and they were up for price matching. This may suit some but did make us think that we never got their best offer up front as perhaps they thought we wouldn't check with other dealers. It felt like more of a policy exercised by this dealership rather than the salesman.
