WHAAAATT?!?!?! This place is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. It's the hidden gem of Italian food in Wiesbaden. Like if Indiana Jones was a foodie he'd be stormin this place like the freakin lost ark. So me and fine as wine lady were just strollin along on this rad as heck German summer day and my stomach was RUMBLING like a kick ass Nickelback cd. So we stop by this joint and from the first bite I was frickin BLOWN AWAY. LIKE DAMN. Freshest Hawaiian pizza this side of the grand ol Mississippi River. Every bite was better than the last and the waiters were like super cool and like way nice. This place is taking over like Stone Cold Steve Austin did to Vince McMahon back in 97. Come by at blow your taste buds away.

The heaters and awning make it comfortable even on a cool evening.

So far, this is the best Italian I have found in Wiesbaden. Although situated at an akward location…read more(corner of Bahnhofstrasse and Rheinstrasse) in the Best Western Hansa Hotel), it has definitely more style than the hotel it is in (but does not belong to!) The interior is modern but not overly cool. I had monkfish in a freshly made provencale sauce and mashed purple potatoes that both looked nice and smelled delicious. My companion had a salad that was also excellent according to her. The service is not too friendly, but maybe the waiter had a bad day? The place is not cheap but reasonable.

My wife and I happened to be staying at nearby Wiesbaden Army Barracks for a night. Do to…read moreeverything betting fried and disgusting she couldn't eat anything at the bowling alley near the lodging facility. Not wanting to let her down, we took to the streets of the local town to find sustenance. After trying to find any open and non-shady looking sushi restaurant she happened to see the sign for Rossini at the end of a hotel. Curious and hungry (we had just flown in from Miami) we stepped into the quaint little restaurant hoping for the best (did I mention neither of us speak German). As our server approached and greeted us for the evening. I asked if he spoke English or Spanish as my wife is fluent in both and I'm at a fairly rudimentary, but working, level. He said he spoke Italian so we began our adventure. I told him that it was my wife's first night ever in Europe so he took it upon himself to make our night memorable. First our waiter brought us two glasses of prosecco and two focaccia cheese pieces. My wife then ordered a glass and it was huge. After talking to us about what we like and don't like, he custom created some meals for both of us. She had a chicken salad and I had a steak and arugula pizza. Both of our plates were great and did not leave us wanting. After completing our meals my wife mentioned how she loves Italian gelato. Not wanting to disappoint, our server had one of their desserts with a Napoleon like, chocolate and a pistachio gelatto rushed out. Ooh my God was it good! Obviously, to say the food and service was great does not do it justice. We had such a good time that I felt the only way to repay the favor was to write a review here. I also wanted to add that by the end of the night their staff was pretty fluent in English. I think was the typical of you try for me we'll try for you so don't let that limit you.

Awesome Italian restaurant, with a great pizza and pasta menu, beer, wine and mixed drinks…read more Friendly staff (our waitress spoke perfect english). They accept credit cards, limited street parking. We came here for a friend's surprise birthday party. I got the Orecchiette di Manzo al Limone and it was amazing. Several people got pizzas and they are huge!! A few of the guys were able to eat all of it. The spaghetti carbonara was really good as well as the bruschetta. I had a few gin and tonics and those that had wine really enjoyed it. Service was a LITTLE slow based on US standards but for Europe it was pretty standard. We ordered a round of Limoncello, and the house got us a round so we ended with a double round of Limoncello! They also brought out a large piece of tiramisu for the birthday girl! Very please and will definitely come back! Highly recommend for a date night date!

This place left a lot to be desired. The hostess was nice enough to sit us without a reservation…read morebut that was the extent of her kindness as she was rude after. It took a while to have our orders taken (group of 3) which was totally fine as we were just chatting. After getting our orders taken, 20 minutes later and my friend's food is out. No utensils, drinks, or my friend's appetizer. After a couple minutes, they got their utensils and an additional 5 minutes later, we get our drinks. It's not like I had a timer going but it's not a great experience when your friends are 75% done with their meal and your food comes 35 minutes after theirs. Before my food came, I let the hostess/waitress know that I'm okay with not getting the food as long as I'm not charged. A couple minutes later she comes out with my dish. I, again, let her know that wasn't necessary and I lost my appetite. She then gets mad at me and tells me well your dish takes longer to make and scolds me in front of my friends. Miss, I politely declined the first time, you bring the food out anyways, and now being rude to try and force me to take it.... That's not customer service. Not to mention my friend's appetizer of cheese bread came out a couple minutes after they tried to force me to take food. If at any point during my wait time I was acknowledged and was told "your dish is almost done" or "I didn't forget about you; your food will be out in x minutes" I would have gladly taken it. It's the fact they walked by 20+ times without saying a word and then expecting me to take the food after I told them I didn't want it anymore. I wasn't the only person who with no service as a couple walked out after having their menus for 40 minutes with no one over to take their order. I will say my friends liked their food. However, I would take subpar food with great customer service over good food and being treated poorly. I still had a decent time as I was with good company, I still paid for my drinks, and I still tipped. However, I truly couldn't recommend this place in good conscience.
