It's a lovely spa too, and not just massage. I met my masseuse, who was very welcoming. We talked about my chronic health issues and how to approach things, and what areas to prioritize. Her massage skills were great. Firm pressure, dug in when needed, loosened up impossibly tight areas, and helped get things moving in my body. I felt like new afterwards and will be scheduling again in a couple of weeks. I can't wait. I will say the massage was more expensive than most other spas, and to get the price down a bit, a membership is required, which I'm not thrilled about. I hate subscriptions, so I'll probably pay more for my freedom from a subscription and because my massage therapist is worth it.

I've had a lower hip pain for a decade since my fall. Physical therapies, chiropractic, different types of massages, and Rolfing didn't help much, and the pain was always lingering. Finally I feel more than 90% normal now. He is like a magic healer or some sort. With his expertise in so many different things, he just knows what to use and how to use them. She started re-lightening but didn't pull the bleach all the way to the top of the highlights, opting instead to do a root smudge to cover the roots. She also didn't have time to address all the highlights, so she suggested I book a follow-up in four weeks to give my hair time to recover. When I reached out to confirm the appointment, Julie told me I didn't have one on record. I knew I had booked, so I found my email confirmation and sent it to her. Communication was a struggle; she often took days to respond, and I had to push for updates. Eventually, she said that the two-hour appointment I had wasn't long enough for what I needed, though this was never clarified when I initially booked. She said I should cancel it and couldn't get me in for another month! Had she communicated and been responsive I could have booked properly way sooner. To add to it, Julie's attitude came across as quite rude, which made the experience even more frustrating. Although she seemed knowledgeable, the communication, scheduling issues, and lack of attention to detail left me disappointed with the outcome.
