She also somehow made a sleep deprived mother look like she hadn't just given birth! Katie came prepared with all the things one might need from background for the baby, cover for the window, props for baby to wear (hats, blankets, etc). She also incorporated some special items for us, like a blanket knit by grandma. Katie was very patient with us in making sure baby was calm and cool for the photos. She also made some helpful tips (like heating up the room so baby would be comfortable without layers). Katie had a very calming touch and moved baby into position without waking, a feat I have not mastered. I would highly recommend Katie for newborn or family photos! Couldn't be happier!

She was also glad to include the parents and grandma in the photoshoot too. Unlike some baby photographers, Katie comes to your home with all the cute props and hats so you don't have to deal with bringing your newborn out to a studio or buy hats that your baby will probably only wear once! She was super sweet and managed to get a ton of beautiful photos in less than 2 hours. She made us feel very comfortable -- as parents of a newborn, we were still new to parenting ourselves and Katie was very accommodating. She takes advantage of furniture/decor/props in your home so the photos look natural and not like it was done at a studio. We ended getting the First Year package which was very reasonable for newborn, 6-month and 1 year photos. I liked that there was an option to buy all the digital images rather than just making you pay for each individual photo. The photos were posted online for us to review and share with our family in literally a day or two. She was also able to give us a few images in just 1 day or 2 so we could get our birth announcements done quickly. We got so many compliments on our photos, and can't wait for the 6-month shoot! Thanks, Katie!

So she had to both mark out all the couple-only shots and manage time for our friend and family pics within 90min (the reservation cap for our venue). She did this all while making us happy and comfortable. Book her immediately, you'll be glad you did! We worked with Alina by sharing our preferred photo spots and some inspo photos to communicate a "vibe" we liked. Alina offered some great new ideas, too. On the wedding day, Alina managed to capture the magic of all the details -- candid shots of our friends and family, snapshots of the venue and florals, and more. We had such a blast looking at the album; it was like reliving the day! The true joy, however, was sharing our photos with our family. They shared that the pictures were show-stopping and have repeatedly asked for prints for themselves! (Lots of, "and your photographer was just incredible, truly.") They cannot believe how spectacular our photos turned out, and we have to agree. Our jaws were on the floor looking through the album! Shooting with Alina was comfortable, too. She is such a sweet soul and I only hope I have a chance to work with her again in the future! Thanks, Alina, for capturing our special day -- so glad we can return to these pictures to remember it!

I was determined to have Golden Gate bridge photos for our family Holiday cards this year. Yelp…read moreled me to Carly and we booked one of her 'mini sessions' (25 minutes for 10 high res PDF photos). From the beginning, Carly was responsive and flexible, even squeezing us in on a busy day in between her other clients when we were hoping for a certain weekend. On the day of our photo shoot, my son got car sick and threw up all over himself and his 'nice clothes' and was crying (red puffy eyes). Then we arrived in the City and the beautiful Fall late afternoon photo shoot we'd hoped for was completely and totally fogged in, cold, gray and windy. You could seriously only see about 6 feet of the bottom of the bridge! I wanted to turn around and go home under the covers. Carly was so positive and upbeat and got us all in a better mood fast. She took us to a few different locations and had us pose in candid ways and we were all laughing a few minutes in. I was hopeful for one picture that we could use from that day. Well, less than a week later than our session, she emailed me our pictures and I was totally and completely blown away by how good they were! There were about 20 that I really really liked. Everyone looked really good with 'real smiles' and you would never know it was actually a super gray, crying, yucky cold day. She is super talented, worked quickly and professionally and was super nice. Not only is she wonderful, but her work and the pictures were really great. The lighting looked good, smiles were genuine and different backgrounds she used turned out great (although never did get my whole bridge picture because of the fog, but we can always try again with Carly next year!)

She was very responsive and friendly in our communication, and the booking process was easy. When an unexpected event occurred and I needed to reschedule, she was gracious and allowed for flexibility. Upon meeting Tumay for our shoot, she exuberated warmth and friendliness. It is obvious she has experience working with kids, as our 5 year old took to her right off the bat. She has a natural way of making everyone feel at ease. I liked her approach to getting natural looking shots instead of awkwardly posing; she suggests simple movements to engage the kids. Tumay's vibe brought the best out of all of us (1.5 year old, 5 year old, mom, dad) and we enjoyed moving through Park Presidio with her to catch the light streaming through the trees. Tumay provided an album for review in less than a week and I fell in love with the photos. They are everything that I hoped for in capturing the essence of our family with two young kids. He's very professional, friendly, quick to respond, and just amazing to work with overall. I had just started wedding planning when I ran into a friend who told me Augie was their photographer and shared his info. We had looked through a number of photographers, but Augie's work stood out to us through all of it--his photos truly captured the feeling of each moment, and we loved everything in his portfolio. When we reached out, he responded so quickly and answered all our questions right away. For our engagement shoot, it was my husband's first time doing a formal photoshoot. Augie came very prepared, offered great tips, and made us feel completely at ease. He was so easy to talk to and work with, and we genuinely had such a fun time with him! He was also flexible with timing and weather to make sure we could get the best lighting. We were blown away by his ability to notice something special in just a few seconds and turn it into a beautifully captured moment. For our wedding day, Augie was even more impressive. I had shared our (very full) itinerary with him ahead of time, and I was surprised to notice that he knew it by heart. When we started running behind, he gently but efficiently helped move things along. Even though it was his first time at our venue, he had an incredible eye for finding perfect spots, turning a simple fence into a magical backdrop. He worked seamlessly around the golfers at our venue, guiding us at the right times and capturing the sweetest in-between moments. He also accommodated all our specific requests, including photos with our sports car and dress details. We absolutely love our wedding photos and all the special moments he preserved. We were also so impressed with how fast he sent us our sneak peek photos--it was such a fun surprise to get highlights so quickly. Overall, I can't stress enough how grateful we are for Augie and everything he captured during our engagement shoot and wedding day. We're so happy with all the memories he helped capture that we will cherish forever, and I truly can't recommend him enough.
