I had a policy with Evan Silvers for five years. After reviewing policies this year, State Farm was…read more$210 more expensive than Progressive. I canceled my policy 7 days before my monthly renewal date. I was then charged the full rate 7 days later. I called Evan repeatedly over a two day period and couldn't get ahold of him. I called customer service and they said that they had received paperwork but Evan had not processed it in a timely manner resulting in a charge. He was the only one who could back date a cancellation, so customer service couldn't help me. After calling him, he informed me that it was worth underwriters but he would expedite the check refund (required for a canceled policy) and I would see it in three days. It's been 10 days. I called customer service and said that 5 days ago the policy was officially canceled and processed by billing. Not only did he not process in the timely manner, be also was dishonest about the delivery time. I will not see that check for 7 - 14 days. Do not work with Evan, he is unreliable and dishonest.
