I've been to several studios in LA for fitness classes and matt Pilates and this was my second reformer class, first time in Newport. This location had a mix of all ages, they also have private training and have a small gym setup. The instructor Lauren was so friendly and sweet and her class kicked my butt. She continued to check on me throughout class because I mentioned I had a back injury I'm rehabbing. She also checked me in initially because their receptionist was not available. She has an extensive background in dance, yoga, Pilates, fitness and overall body movement. She had a sweet, graceful demeanor and engaged in every person. She especially helped me correct my form with each exercise, and is an awesome teacher! Her class emphasizes core and strengthening/stretching the hips, lower back, shoulders, groin and abs. The staff are all so friendly and Pilates is a good tool to enhance your fitness goals, gain strength and gain a super strong core.
