There's not an artist I haven't seen. To be honest I was an artist for a year and that's how i know how good this work is. I've paid 400$ for lashes that weren't close to this good and I've paid 25$ for lashes and you get what you pay for. I know all the ins and outs of lashing. Your artist may be a kind girl. But .. your lashes are more important. I was so happy and excited to do lashes when I learned years ago. And they always looked great but it's not easy to make them look great and stay looking great AND stay healthy. If you see anyone lesser than a professional you are asking for infections and pain. You CANNOT risk your health for a price. And honestly in the world of lashes the lash bar is the best quality vs price I've ever seen. I decided I was in the lash game for the long haul, so my natural lashes had to be in it for the long haul too. Well luckily Ashley Marzelek has kept my lashes long, thick, healthy, pain free and SAFE. Flawless of course . The only problem is it takes one month to get adjusted to the weight and feel of the lashes. After that you don't realize they're not yours! I could not suggest Ashley more I honestly would be dumb to leave. I tried to leave for a cheaper price once (aka a nail salon ) the money I saved was not worth the pain and aggravation I had to remove them it was horrible! I contacted Kate needing a set of lashes I'd had put on in NYC removed - I'd moved, it had been too long, I needed to try a different system and find my go-to place in the Boston area. One of Kate's staff expertly and patiently removed the prior set and a day or so later after hiding in the house with no lashes, Kate applied a flawless set of individual lashes for me. I'm a firm believer in go big or go home - so I opted for the set with the most lashes and volume and length lol. But the great thing is, had I wanted something more natural Kate offers a full range of lashes - some with more of of a curl to them, others in different lengths and thicknesses so you can truly customize the look your achieve at this salon, and it's amazing. Unlike the previous lash bar I went to Kate also offers different glues - the one I opted for is waterproof, oil proof and keeps my lashes damn near perfect so long as I keep my 2 week fill appointment (everyone is different, I beat mine up so 2 weeks is my optimum fill time lol) The location is easy to find, easy to park at, and it's well appointed - it's chic, comfortable and the staff at the Lash Studio are not only friendly and accommodating but really carefully trained - lets face it, you don't want just anyone near your eyes with glue and a pair of tweezers. I understand that so many people are concerned about price-point, but if you want the best looking lashes in Boston, this in my opinion, is the only place to come to. It is immaculately clean, the staff are all knowledgeable and a stress is put on keeping the health of the lashes underneath - Kate's dedication to her business and craft really shows. Here is an explanation of the entire process (wish I had this when I began)…read more 1. Call or message Wincy to book an appointment for microblading eyebrows. 2. When you get there, you sign some papers to approve the process. 3. Then, she begins to outline what your new eyebrows would look like with a ruler and eyebrow pencil. 4. Next, she applies numbing cream onto your eyebrows and you wait 10 minutes. 5. You lay down on the folding table and she begins. After she's done, she'll apply vitamin A & D ointment on your eyebrows with a q-tip. You will need to do this twice a day for a week. You will have to avoid contact with water on your eyebrows as well (this includes showering). The first day will be EXTREMELY dark, but you'll see it slowly fade over the course of a few days. It starts to get very itchy, but you must resist touching them so they can heal properly. A week later, you'll be able to shower and do everything normally again. It's possible that she may have missed some spots while microblading, but there will be a touch-up appointment ($80) 4 - 6 weeks later. Overall, I am very happy with the way my eyebrows came out. I was much more relieved after the touch-up appointment, because it wasn't perfect after the first time.

I felt ugly. I told the folks at lash lady worried I was going to hurt their feelings but nope! They worked with me and gave me financial relief when I had fallout. Second time (with my tech Bella) and OMG!!! She introduced me to the regular c curl which is so natural and lush looking and I'm hooked! She also switched me from cat eye to doll eye. I was convinced I wanted to be Megan fox and insisted the first time but nope! Bella was absolutely right that this set of hybrid c curl doll eye is gorgeous on me. So long story short... go here. Whatever they used made me feel like bees stinging my eyeballs. I also paid 310 for a full set which is 2 1/2 hours She did mine for 1 3/4 min and when I said something they said oh she can only do what she can do. 100% of lash places charge by time. I then call and request an appointment with a more advanced lash and I sent them pictures of my lashes before and was told that if I wanted them full she could have added more fans. So why didn't she add more fans with the 35 min she had left? My eyes were not tapped correctly and my right eye was stinging so bad I was crying the woman had to fan me over 5 times, I asked to use the restroom she said no can you wait if you go to the bathroom I'll have to tape you all over, I said no I need to go to the restroom When I came back she accused me of washing my eyelashes and had an attitude like now they're all going to fall off. No, I didn't touch water to my eyes those are the tears from how badly my eyes were stinging They then said oh sometimes people's eyes sting, I get that if you don't normally get your eyelashes done and maybe you're allergic to the glue, but I am not. I have been getting my lashes done 2 sometimes 3 times a month for the past 5 years (unfortunately the girl I saw moved) I sent them the pictures of my lashes today, and the lashes I normally get and the owner had the audacity to say the application was flawless. The lashes were so far from my lash line I can clearly see where they were attached. I didn't ask for any money back, nothing, maybe just some validation or an apology but all I got was talked to in an EXTREMELY fake condescending voice saying that everything is perfect.
