a plate of food with rice and meat

Good Service. Bad Food. Dirty Restaurant. Wouldn't Recommend to anyone. Rice was mushy & sweet tasting. Yams were nasty and hard (nutmeg was overpowering). Chicken was ok.

I've now tried Aunties Kitchen twice. I wanted to love it. The first time food was okay...cabbage was delicious but most everything else lacked flavor despite the hot sauce. The macaroni and cheese was crunchy from being old. The collard greens and the yams were decent. Still, I wanted to give it 4 stars for the cabbage alone. Today I returned and was very disappointed. There is a mask ordinance in place to try to stop COVID, but no employees wore masks or gloves and despite the signs, they didn't say anything when a customer entered without a mask. I won't be back.

Great atmosphere and service. The food was also delicious. We ordered pasta and chicken with a biscuit. The drinks were stiff and perfect!

Food was so good! "Auntie" was a sweetheart. We stopped by Thursday on our drive back to Minnesota. The kids said everything was "yummy"!

The prices are already solid, but the dinner specials make the deals even better. The staff is very friendly and keeps things moving quickly, which is great because the food comes out fast and piping hot. The chicken itself is breaded to perfection--super crispy on the outside while still juicy and flavorful on the inside. You also get your choice of dipping sauces, which makes it easy to mix things up. If you're in the area, this is definitely a must-visit, especially if you love fried chicken. It's the kind of place that's simple, fast, and absolutely hits the spot every time.

My first experience was at a location in Thomasville but I've been to this one a few times. I get the lunch special with fried chicken wings, French fries and cole slaw. It also comes with a slice of bread and a drink. The chicken is delicious and perfectly fried. It is tender and juicy. The slaw is chopped fine and a little sweet like southern slaw should be. I don't like French fries but these are very good with the sprinkling of pixie dust that they put on them. The employees are very friendly! This is in the old TCBY location on Mahan Rd. The rest room is clean and the food great. I'll be back!

Adams Street is a quiet street on this particular Saturday morning around 9:15 am. But inside the restaurant, there is a flurry of activity behind the counter, the aroma of breakfast makes us smile when we enter and there is a line that stretches to the door. Folks are waiting. Few dine in and most are carrying out several to go boxes per person. The prices are reasonable and for the portion size, I would say budget-minded. Get the Olean's omelette. It's generously sized and enough for 3 meals. It looks nothing like a traditional omelette. It reads more like a breakfast casserole. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, veggies and cheese. It's comfort food on a plate. I am so sorry I didn't take a photo to share. I highly recommend this meal option! My dining companion ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and plain grits. My dining companion stated they were the best restaurant grits they'd ever eaten. The bacon was piled high on his plate! He took 1/2 this meal home. Mrs. Olean is behind the counter and just as personable as can be. She sets the tone for hospitality and it shows with her courteous staff. There was ample parking. The dining room is small, probably 10 tables in all. Most seem to be taking bags with their to go containers. Few people leave with one container. We will certainly return for some of their lunch options next.

I swear! I had no idea that there was a Bojangles in the city of Tallahassee Florida. I discovered…read moreit via Google maps while looking at what businesses were nearest to Magnolia Heights Historic District, which was the location of my hotel while visiting. I was pleased to find that it was only .2 miles in distance. And its 4.7 star rating out of 1,500+ on Uber Eats was the assurance I needed that I would have a quality experience. Looking through the menu, I took an interest in items like the egg & cheese biscuit, southern gravy biscuit, bo-tato rounds, bo* fries, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy, sweet potato pie, green beans, and of course their infamous bo-berry biscuit, which came in a heart-shaped form due to Valentine's Day being the month I visited. Out of all that caught my eye on their menu, I ended up ordering their bo*fries, and of course bo-berry biscuits. Whether it be Grubhub or Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient. Most of the time my orders are completed upon my arrival or near complete. By the time I arrived at Bojangles my order was being bagged up behind the counter during this ordering experience. Picking up was just confirming my name, order, and I was well on my way back to my hotel. I am grateful to have had a smooth online ordering experience because the likelihood of me ordering online again is very high. As for my order, my mouth salivated prior to taking both items outside of the bag to get pictures of them to share. It was hard to ignore the smell of the bo-berry biscuits, as well as the bo*fries. I never mentioned that it has been nearly two decades since I have had Bojangles, which was introduced to me by one of my co-workers while we were headed to Jacksonville North Carolina from Arlington Virginia during my military years. But I digress! Sprinkled with Bo's famous seasoning, I moaned after my first taste of those bo*fries. They just do not make fries like this at some of my most frequented restaurants in Chicago Illinois, where I reside. Mmm, yes! My only regret was that I did not get a larger size, but with that I just wanted to save more room for those bo-berry biscuits. Once I finished off eating those fries, I realized that I did not even use the barbecue sauce that I ordered with them, tehehe. Oh well! Now drenched in sweet icing, I anticipated the taste of the bo-berry biscuits, which I must say melted in my mouth with its soft texture that was filled with bo-berry berries! I savored each moment to enjoy the taste of those buttermilk biscuits, with no crumbs left behind. After finishing, I had a smirk on my face in realizing that my tastebuds were satisfied. In closing, I had a great ordering experience as I have indicated in this review of Bojangles. And with that, I share my endorsement of it as well with you all on yelp. We enjoyed brunch so much we came back for dinner the same day! The menu items include both traditional and creative thoughtfully prepared offerings that are delicious and attracted plated. The decor is classy and modern with the addition of a very nice bar and sport spectator area. For brunch I had the half fried chicken which includes 4 pieces separately fried. I had collard greens which were fresh but just okay flavor wise, but I really enjoyed the roasted carrots! My aunt had a pork chop sandwich which came with delicious home fries! My uncle had fried fish and grits with scrambled eggs and biscuit. The seasoning and crust on the fried items was perfect! When we returned for dinner, we enjoyed the unique appetizer....boiled peanut and neckbone boil. I enjoyed the vegan black eyed pea soup. It was classic comfort food, I had the chef add in some collards and it was delicious! Also enjoyed the BBQ shrimp even though I was expecting it to be a little more wet. I did not get to taste the gumbo or the smothered fried shrimp and grits but I saw some clean plates-lol. The staff is super friendly and attentive and it's very clean. Looking forward to our next visit!
