Happy to be so close to this awesome hangout!! It is the perfect place to go for a late afternoon…read morepatio beer, a tasty pick-me-up snack, or to catch a game. They have some pretty interesting beers on tap - we tried one with gin and a bunch of strange botanicals and while we probably wouldn't order it again we do appreciate the artistry and intrigue of something we've never conceived of tasting before! They truly do live up to their experimental Lab name! The sweet and salty pretzel bites were outta this world! Crisp and hot but soft and fluffy on the inside, I'd crush a plate of these again in a second. The fries were also tasty - overall a great spot to wind down from a farmer's market run!

They also were 'blowing the taps' which meant we get to try many of the beers that they were saying good-bye to. So, a little story. I was one of the first to wander into a place called Brew Lab years ago. I actually found the place because of looking for brewing supplies. There were a good amount of tools here but also these folks were serving their beer! So, what a great idea. I bought some grain... and had a few beers! I visited this place a few more times on the regular. Suddenly one day there was appetizers. And had the most divine pretzel bites that have ever existed. Next time was an amazing club sandwiches. And some pulled pork. All of the food has always been great bar food. And then there was the beer. So many delicious beers each time. Too many to try at once. But, that is all memory lane... Now... here is the news! Brew Lab is changing. The ownership remains the same however they have given up the brewing. They will have a few of their specialty beers that they keep on tap but they will have a lot more taps of beer from other breweries. On this visit they brought out a large amount of samples of the food that they will be adding/altering in the menu going forward. There were a lot of really delicious items and I am excited for when they have the full menu and I can order some of them. Most notably I am excited for the Catfish Po'boy sandwich. We will be back soon to try the all new... Tall Boys. Look for that review coming soonish!

We love the music on Sunday afternoons, and the food trucks/bands during the weekend. We love events like cookie decorating and pumpkin carving that they host! I appreciate that they give back to the community (Sundays with a "Pourpus" where part of each beer purchase is donated to a local charity for example), we adopted a puppy on one of those days! We've been coming since they opened and it's been really fun to see how they've grown in the last several years!

But you're coming for the beer, and the beer is really great. Limitless has gone from a location in a light office park to its own standalone building, complete with patio and plenty of space. There are generally half a dozen or more of their own craft brews on tap ranging from IPA through porter/stout. You may have even had some of their flagship beers elsewhere, such as JoCo Juice, a hazy IPA or Rolling in the Deep, a double New England IPA. I myself go for malt over hop, so I find their Marzen to be one of my favorite beers. If they have their Mexican lager on tap, then I also suggest sampling that as well. A flight of four runs you $14-ish and is a great value, as the sample sizes give you plenty of opportunity to really get a feel for their offerings. If you find something you really like, then you can take four-packs home to go in cans. Limitless is open almost every day, at least until 7:00 and when the weather is nice, the patio was a must do. There are frequently people playing a board game or just enjoying the space, and while I don't want this to be just another noisy space, they could do with maybe a TV or two more. But that is just me being picky and since they are in the neighborhood, I like visiting whenever I can.

I had been wanting to try Strip's for a while, and I'm really glad I finally did because this ended…read moreup being a genuinely great spot. The chicken was the star right away. It was juicy, tender, and very clearly fresh. We tried the Crispy Chicken Strips, and that pretzel breading they have was so crisp and satisfying. I appreciated that the bartender warned me the regular breading on the fried chicken bites had a mild spice. I can't do spice at all, so that kind of heads-up really matters. The fries were really good too. They were seasoned enough to add flavor without taking over the meal, which I think is especially important with fried chicken. I only wish they had come out a little hotter because paired with how fresh the chicken was, that would have made the plate pretty much perfect. Still..they were absolutely worth eating. The fried chicken bites were also fresh and tasty. We did think they could have used a little more breading, but it did not take away from the overall dish. Sauces- My partner tried the mango habanero sauce and said it smelled spicier than it actually tastes! Which was helpful intel from my spice tester that I'm passing from me to you! For me, the honey mustard was a standout. I'm not sure if they make it in house, but it was one of those sauces that immediately makes you think, okay yes, this is one of the good honey mustard places!! You don't do that? The smashed potatoes and gravy deserve their own paragraph because they were fantastic. This is the kind of side that makes a place more memorable. I love when a restaurant has a few items or sauces that feel a little different from the usual copy and paste menus. The smashed potatoes were great on their own, but that skillet-style gravy really made them level up. The vibe was another plus. It was a Saturday night and it wasn't overly crowded. This is the kind of casual dive bar you can just hang out and actually talk. There's a little game room with pool, darts, and a giant Connect Four setup! That was super fun! I won at Connect Four so obviously that made it more fun, but it was great and a nice little add beyond just being another place to grab fried food and a drink. For a divey spot, everything also felt decently clean and well kept. The bathrooms were clean, and the bar area looked pretty and maintained. They've got a jukebox you can control from your phone, which is such a fun touch. Yes, it costs money like a normal jukebox, but being able to do it from your phone is pretty nice. My one real issue was service based, after I accidentally spilled my drink it never got cleaned up, so I ended up sitting with my feet in soda through the rest of the meal. I only saw two people working though, so it felt more like understaffing than indifference. We were too full for dessert, but we had to try the crème brûlée cheesecake so we took it home. It was decadent, and a little different! The cherry marshmallow sauce on top was not your standard finish, and I really liked that. That was kind of my overall takeaway from Strip's. It doesn't feel like a copy-and-paste bar food spot. A couple things could have been better, but the food was strong enough that I'd definitely come back.

The interior is clean and well maintained. Service was friendly. They have beer, cocktails, and soft drinks. The beers on tap are brewed in collaboration with local breweries and a few in manhattan. I tried the Gunslinger Gold West Coast IPA that was brewed with Red Crow. It was a really good, nicely done IPA. We ordered food to go and our order was accurate. We started with the Crispy Portobello Strips: Fresh Portabello Mushroom caps cut into strips & fried with pretzel breading. These were probably my favorite thing that we ordered. They weren't soggy and you could actually taste the mushrooms because the breading was light. I also ordered the Crispy Chicken Strips:Zesty Batter & Pretzel Breading. They came with a side so I opted for the fries. I was honestly underwhelmed. They weren't bad but they weren't amazing either. The chicken was well cooked. The breading was good. But it kept reminding me of frozen Tyson chicken nuggets. The taste that is. The fries were also average. I really liked the honey mustard sauce and it saved the meal overall. Since they had mac and cheese, I decided to try it. It wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst I've ever had. Again, just average. I really wanted to love this place due to the people and beer but I wasn't blown away. They do have burgers and other offerings so I may need to return to try some other items. I'd definitely stop in for a beer and some mushrooms.

The employees are as kind as ever and even when it looks crowded the inside lines move fast (I can't speak on the drive through). I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to receive my order and the food is always fresh. I also love that chick-fil-A has been banging out the limited release sandwiches recently, it's a nice switch up from a classic spicy chicken sandwich or cool wrap (my usual orders on the regular menu) Most recently my mom and I went in to try the jalapeno ranch chicken sandwich and we both enjoyed it but, be sure you ask for sauce packets because it doesn't come with the sauce already on the sandwich you have to dress it yourself. They also now have waffle chips (these debuted when the pretzel cheddar club sandwich was the limited release) it's nice to have a side option that's easier to take home with you if you don't want to eat it right then and there. The chick-fil-A sauce flavored ones don't necessarily match the taste of the epic chick-fil-A sauce in liquid form but, they do have tangy notes of bbq and a slight taste of honey mustard. It's unique to have a fast food restaurant put out a version of bagged chips! But, the best thing about Chick-fil-A will always be the sauce (and the quality of chicken) there are so many fun sauces to choose from, the OG chick-fil-A sauce is a must, the sriracha one is always something I order but, a tried and true combo is combining the buffalo with honey packets, little known about is their honey roasted barbecue but it's delicious!

Our food came out quickly and my grandkids loved their chicken nuggets, they weren't thrilled with the waffle fries but because they are use to regular fries. I have celiac so I had their grilled chicken bacon cheese sandwich on a gluten free bun and waffle fries and unsweetened ice tea. The sandwich was fine but the bun was gritty. The fries were great as well as the dipping sauces. My husband's chicken tenders and sandwich was very good he said. The play place was smaller but the kids liked it. The trash needed to be emptied in the women's bathroom but other wise the restaurant was clean. It was quiet for the amount of traffic.
