The inside is small, with the bar located where there was once the pulpit. Cocktails are not fancy or super elaborate - I always get something simple like a Spritz - aperitivo food is neither huge in variety nor special but they have the basic stuff (chips and olives) and the atmosphere is cool and very relaxed (no fancy dresses, stilettos or blazers). I especially love to come here on hot summer evenings for a drink before dining in my favorite Chinatown restaurants, because inside it is dark and cold, perfect for the heat. The atmosphere is cool: not very bright and even when full, feels empty and impersonal - like a church!
