The service was very quick. My order was taken right away by a very nice waiter. I ordered a Gose beer, which was excellent. I was glad to try the local beer here with its very distinctive taste. The food came out hot and very fresh. I really liked the sauerkraut and the bratwurst. The potatoes, though, were a little bland. This was a really nice restaurant to eat at. I would recommend trying it, especially in a nice day when you can sit outside on the patio.

The resturant only had 6 people at tables we could see, and it is a large resturant. We asked for a table for 4 adults and 1 child. The server said we are fully booked all night no room. As I say there were only 6 people seated. We returned later to see how busy they were and at 8pm there were only 2 people seated in the resturant. I feel that for a resturant of that quality and prices to match they need some lessons in public relations. We had the distinct impression the server just didn't want us there, maybe because we had a child of 4 with us????????? On the Tuesday my family and I spent around £250 on a meal and I feel very let down by the service or lack of it on the Sunday.
