I could have bought brand new but I had some high quality flex steel pieces from my mother i wanted to keep. I called and checked different upholstery places in Orlando and Raggio was the one that came back to me the quickest. They weren't the most expensive and they were't the least but they had a great customer service and even hand delivered the fabric options. They were very responsive on e-mail (Julie!). I selected a performance fabric and couldn't be happier. They picked up my furniture (Roberto) at no charge and within a couple of weeks, I had a wood sofa, arm chair and ottoman and several pillows made. It was delivered in clear wrapping. The quality of the bolting and stitching was so good and they sewed zippers on the pillows. I plan to use them again for future projects. Why buy new when you can refresh what you have? " This instantly caught my eye and I decided to give them a call. They explained to me that they were too busy doing commercial projects right now to work on a single piece of furniture for residential. I was trying to speak with the girl on the phone and get more information on if they just had one department that worked specifically on furniture restoration for residential or if they had several people that worked in that area....mainly because what I'm wanting done is somewhat different. I did not want to wait around for two or three weeks, only to find out that there was no one that could do exactly what I was wanting done. I thought that she might have someone call me back and speak to me about my project. However, that was not the case at all. She again, made it quite clear that they did not have time to work on anything I had at this moment. And she also made it clear that I seemed to be annoying her.
