When I went to Dr Jaspers office I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very kind knowledgeable and sympathetic. when I met Dr jasper he was amazing. I developed so much confidence in him. He came up with a plan after actually reading, understanding my MRI, explaining my condition and how he can fix the problem. He showed me the herniation in my spine that was pushing on a nerve and how he can remove it. he made is so logical that I developed so much confidence in him. Dr Jasper did a small spine procedure with a very small opening with an endoscope that made me a new person. I had no general anesthesia I went home the same day with a bandaid. The procedure that I am most thrilled with is called Via disc. It is 5 procedures of cadaver implants. I cannot say enough about this wonderful procedure. It takes 2-3 months for each implant to begin to work. It has been approximately 10 weeks since my first procedure & I am 70 percent improved. I let it go for almost 6 weeks because I am petrified of doctors. Long story for a different day. The pain got so bad I had no choice. I wound up going to Jersey Shore Orthopedic as a fluke. No other Orthopedic could give me an appointment right away nor did they take my insurance. They are located on the second floor in Children's Hospital on 37 in Toms River. The place is immaculate. My kind of place .Dr. Weiner at our first meeting explained every detail of what was going on within my knees. He did some painless routine physical tests and suggested Cortizone shots one for each knee. I was frozen with fear. I have not had good experiences with doctors. But he explained every step and said when the pain I was experiencing in my kneesgot to be too much to make an appointment and he would give Cortizone. That is exactly what I did after sitting in my car for over an hour, screaming and crying in pain to the point where I couldn't get out of the vehicle and go to work. I was frozen in that. I didn't wanna go to a doctor, but I couldn't stand the pain. So I called Dr. Miner's office. I just had the shots. I do not like needles. It was no big deal at all. The most you'll feel is a pinch from the first needle. The second one does a little bit of movement inside to distribute the Cortizone and you're done in seconds. The healing process will be a little bit longer than instantaneous, but I instantaneously felt relief and have every belief that I will be able to dance at my son's wedding in September.
