As a long time hearing aid wearer, I've experienced hearing aids and service from a number of places from online, Costco and dispensers - both in HI and CA - and Stephanie and her staff are first rate. I didn't feel rushed or talked down to and Stephanie made sure that I was comfortable with the choice of devices but with the operation of as well. These aren't OTC devices they are true hearing aids and while not cheap, they are great choice for my hearing issues and lifestyle, so well worth the extra money. Kudos to Audibel! read more

I had a great experience with Dr. Crabbe. She was very professional, timely, and an expert in her niche of practice. The building is conveniently located in town, and the parking is super easy. No crazy "park here, then walk there" situation, like some of the other clinics where you gotta budget in an extra 20 minutes, just to find the parking and the office. Let me preface this by saying it has been many years since I've had a hearing exam since leaving the military. My last exam the attendants had to tell me to stop pressing the button because they had not started the test (Tinnitus). My relatives went here and highly recommended Audibel. It was a free test, so I scheduled an appointment to check some issues I was having. I was not sure what to expect. The office was clean and well designed. Ani at the front desk was very helpful when I arrived and over the phone when I tried to schedule an appointment. She set me up with a welcome video and made sure I was comfortable. Stephanie came in and clearly explained what we would be doing and why. First, she showed me the inside of my ear canal and the ear drum. There was some wax and she removed it while I watched on the screen. It wasnt as disgusting as it sounds. She explained how and why ear wax develops and once the ear canal was thoroughly clean she showed me my ear drum. I had punctured my ear drum as a teen jumping off Kapena Falls and recently had an inner ear infection. She showed me some scarring from these events and gave me a recommendation to have it rectified. Then she sat me in the testing booth and with a calm and professional demeanor explained everything as we went. I'm saying this because I have never had that experience. Now I understand what my test results are, why they came out that way and what I need to look out for in the future. I felt guilty not paying anything for the tremendous service and insightful information Stephanie provided. I learned more from this one visit than any previous ear/hearing related doctor visits combined. She let me demo a hearing aid with a built-in tinnitus mode. She did not pressure me to buy anything and even referred me back to the VA in case my military coverage would help pay for some of my future expenses. She does not work directly with the VA and hence would not make anything if I used the VA. She gave me a copy of my hearing test in case I needed it for my primary care doctor, again, at no charge. If you have procrastinated about that nagging hearing issue, this is the place to go. You will walk out with a clear understanding of where your hearing stands. When I left I told them I would pay for my parking so they wouldn't have to use their validation stamps (I came in early). They refused and covered my parking as well. If I had the ability, I'd have left 6 stars. read more

Ears felt clogged and hearing was muffled so I called Audibel to see if they could clean my ears. I was lucky they were able to fit me in. Receptionist was super nice and I was seen quickly. I was in and out in about 30 min. Ears are clean as a whistle. Will definitely come back. read more

I scheduled an appointment for my wife to get a hearing device. Although we live on another island we wanted to get as much done as possible in one trip. Stephanie called me one week prior to our appointment. We were able to select the appropriate hearing aid and she had it in her office before we arrived. Stephanie was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us. She was able to help my wife with the programming, maintenance and cleaning of the device. I came across an ad in the paper for a FREE hearing evaluation. I thought, why not?! My daughters have told me often that I'm deaf, but it could just be selective hearing. I called the office and spoke to Ani, who helped me schedule an appointment. She made me feel at ease and was very professional about my situation. She asked me general questions regarding my hearing, like if I was having any pain or ringing in either ear and if I currently wore hearing aids. The next best thing is they fully validate your parking!! The office is located in Hale Pawa'a. A nice medical building, still very new .. about 6 years old. They are on the 3rd floor in suite 330.  Surprisingly, it's a small quaint office. It is run by the specialist, Stephanie, and her office manager Ani. In the waiting room, they have cold fruit infused water available, and a bowl of chocolate candies. A large screen TV that they play videos of the parent company (Starkey) international missions. So, Starkey provides hearing aids to third world countries. How cool is that?? As a Rotarian that made me feel good about this office. Getting back on topic .. I filled out the necessary forms and signed my HIPAA stuffs. My wait time was next to nothing because i had an apppintment. I was taken to an exam room, where I was shown a video about hearing loss. Stephanie came in right after it was done. We talked for a bit and she showed me what my ears looked like with her tiny camera. Earwax is fascinating and gross. She then took me to a different room where she has a 'sound booth' and conducted my hearing test.  I am happy to say that I don't need a hearing aid, yet. But, she was so thorough with the information she gave me regarding my test results and products, that I will definitely be coming back here to purchase, when that time comes! Hopefully not anytime soon!!  Stephanie is easy to talk to and I wish her continued success in her field!  Please go and visit the ladies...make an appointment to get a free hearing test! I recently went to Audibel Hearing center to have a hearing evaluation which was arranged for me n by Hear in America. I was very pleased with my evaluation and really was glad that I was able to meet Stephanie who immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable . She spent some time getting to know me. She was very pleasant, courteous and professional. She first checked my ears, which I could also see on a screen and explained to me what she was doing and seeing in my ear. She then went to check my hearing and when finished, explained results to and gave me an option to have further testing to see if I was interested in a hearing instrument or to come back next year for hearing evaluation. I liked that she wasn't out to just sell me a hearing aid and gave me the option to decide what I wanted. I felt that she was thorough in explaining and kept asking if I had any questions. Because she has been wearing a hearing aid for at least 20 years, that she has the experience of having a hearing aid that she can really empathize if and when you do decide to get a hearing aid. I opted to wait for my next hearing evaluation to decide if I should get a hearing aid. I would definitely recommend Stephanie to my family and friends. read more
