yes, I bought a used A5 (2017) from Audi of Sarasota. Since all the bugs have been worked out I do enjoy driving my car. Buying a used car is a gamble. The dealer will generally fix what is needed and put it out in the lot. I do believe in getting an extended warranty. My A.C. went on my car shortly after I bought it. My extended warranty took care of fixing it ($3,000). Audi is a very expensive car to fix. I like all the staff at Sarasota Audi. They are polite and respectful. Yes, you will pay top dollar for a used Audi. It does depreciate quickly and ....forget about trades in. You will get low balled on every model. P.S. The Mercedes dealership is worse. The overhead on these dealerships must be incredibly high. read more

Yes great experience! They put my Luggage in the loaner when I came back, they put all my luggage back in my fixed and Newley washed car. The service was great. They did it a day earlier than I thought it would be done -everyone's friendly and very professional. I especially loved the young helpers that take your car from you and help you out of the car in the car and with anything you need removed. read more

My mother who is elderly brought her Q5in here for a leaky coolant component. The quote was nearly $4000. I knew that wasn't right. We pulled the car and had it repaired for $600 at a local mechanic. I purchased a pre owned Cadillac at this dealership in September. After having the car for a few days, I discovered an issue with the AC. After speaking with my salesman, and being told they couldn't help me, I was able to get the service department to "fix" it. Now, 60 days later, the problem has returned and the service department said that the warranty on this repair has expired. I'm sitting here wondering what was actually done when they supposedly took care of the problem. I'm not an expert but I don't believe the repair was done properly. read more

I would like to say I tried to call this dealership Monday morning around 10 o'clock to ask a service question and perhaps make an appointment the first time I called nobody picked up the phone and then I called again. It rang for a while and someone picked up the phone. I told him what I needed and they forwarded me to an advisor and I left a message and nobody has called me back. I have never seen a dealership with such horrible follow up especially being a higher end dealership. We recently leased two Audis from the Audi Sarasota dealership, after our cars got flooded in the hurricane this year, we are so disappointed to find out that the sales rep at this dealership lied right to our faces when they promised us that we would get a rebate based on FEMA, they will say anything to trap you into a deal, they will say yes to everything, and after you sign, is when they will deny all that was promised Please be very careful when you deal with the sales people there, i will never go back there again, once my lease is up. read more

i had an appointment for my first service at 1pm on aug 6 2024 at 3;345 the service manager told me th car would not be ready until the next day. i said that was imposible because of a commitment for the next day. asking why an oil change a a few tests could take so long he stated they were busy. i stated that i had an appoint at 1 he stated that did not matter but if i wanted the car i could wait. two things that i had requested were not done. rotation of the tires and a new wier on the rear window. this is a very poorly run service program read more

The staff who work here are absolutely amazing and super sweet! I dealt with Kristy Harrington and she was a wonderful service advisor who answered every question I had in a timely, eloquent manner and ensured that I get the best service possible. However, whoever runs this dealership or is in charge of setting the service prices, is a SCAMMER. I was told that an alignment on my car would be $499. That is absolutely ridiculous considering that the Audi dealership in Fort Myers, an hour down the road, charges $286.20 with tax included for the EXACT same alignment. It is for this reason that I will never bring my car back to this establishment ever again. I do not appreciate being scammed and having to pay double for a service! When I asked Kristy why the price was so high she told me that every dealership sets their own prices; Thus, I was able to conclude that whoever is the owner of this dealership and/or is in charge of setting the prices for services has zero compassion and consideration towards the patrons that keep the business running. read more

This is a review of Audi Sarasota Service. I have no experience with the Sales end. The vehicle, a 2019 Q5 SUV is a wonderful car, however. I will never use their service department again. Audi recommends oil changes every 30,000 miles (synthetic oil). In early November 2021 I called for an appointment for my 3 year old vehicle's service. I was given the date of January 4, 2022, which to me seemed untimely at best. I also asked for new wiper blades and, as auto batteries in Florida last 3-4 years, I asked that they replace the car battery. They had the car for two days. In that time they managed to roll up a bill of almost $1000 although my coupon lowered it to $930. As an example, furnishing and installing a new battery was $397. New wipers were almost $100. The oil change and rotating and aligning the tires took up the remainer. In my opinion these charges are nothing short of larcenous and I will never again use their service department. The staff was courteous and apologetic but they said "It's not us. It's Audi". Unless the work involves warantee issues I urge every Audi owner in Sarasota/Manatee counties to find a third party mechanic. read more

He immediately asked me if I was a citizen, my age because I sounded too young to buy a vehicle and if I had plans to leave the country with the vehicle. I also stated that my corporate discount should have already automatically been sent to him but instead he kept demanding and asking who I work for. Every time I try to talk to him about my vehicles issues he tells me that can check it out for $200 more dollars, without even hearing me out. I'm in the market for a used/new Audi Q7, while we live in the Sarasota/Bradenton area it was only natural that I would start with our local Audi dealership, Audi Sarasota. On Thursday 12/10/20 (Day #1), I contacted a salesman using the Cargurus website to make sure the vehicle was still available, the salesman promptly responded via text stating the vehicle was still there. I explained that I had used the "appraise my car link" that's on their website and the salesman stated he did see that and was going to send additional trade-in paperwork via email. He also asked that I take several photo's of my vehicle inside and out, too include all tires, I ended sending him roughly 10-12 pics. Throughout this I told the salesman I'd narrowed down my search over the past week and I was ready to buy if the numbers were agreeable, his response was "great I'll email them to you now." However, I didn't receive any trade-in paperwork and finally contacted the salesman again the following afternoon (Day #2) to ask about the status of the paperwork, I had explained to the salesman that if we all agreed on the numbers I would be buying today. The salesman did finally get back to me Friday afternoon after a little prodding to do so and he finally forwarded the trade-in paperwork late Friday. I was unable to make it to the dealership on Saturday and stated that I would be there on Monday (Day #3) instead because they're closed on Sunday's). Before leaving for the dealership on Monday I contacted the salesman via text to let him know I was on my way, shortly thereafter I received a phone call stating he just found out the vehicle was taken to auction the prior week and is no longer available. My initial reaction was disbelief about how and why this happened? - What the heck was he doing for the prior 3-days, why would you not check on the status of a vehicle when a customer first contacts you about seeing it? - Why would you ask a customer to take several photo's of their car to send over if you "truly" didn't know the status of the vehicle for sale? - Why would you send trade-in paperwork for the customer to complete and then send back to you, which I did complete and send? - The key here though is that this was over a 3-day period, short notice can't be used as an excuse here. Putting myself in the salesman's shoes, if it were me checking to make sure the vehicle was still for sale would be one of the first things I'd do! Why would you go through all of that over a 3-DAY period without even knowing the status of the vehicle. - Oddly enough the salesman DID have knowledge about (2) other Q7's that the lot for sale, to put a little topping on the "oddly enough" both those vehicles were ironically MORE expensive than the advertised vehicle I called about, another reviewer states this very same thing happened to them. - On 12/18/20 I noticed another Q7 on AutoTrader that was being sold by Sarasota Audi that I really liked, but based on what had just happened I said no way am I dealing with them again. However, my wife suggested that I call and inquire about the availability of that vehicle just out of curiosity. On 12/19/20 I called the dealership and spoke with another salesman, they said they would check on it and get right back to me. I received a call back about an hour or so later and was told that vehicle was no longer for sale, but that they do have other Q7's for sale......Yeah already went down that road with another Sarasota Audi salesman a few days earlier.....No thanks! - On 12/14/20 I sent an email to corporate Suncoast Auto Group, of which owns Sarasota Audi. I did not list the salesman's name in my initial email to corporate, that was NOT the intent, however with now knowing my email has been blocked when trying to submit a review, I'm not so sure about the level of integrity of this business. Being a military veteran integrity is something that sits at the top of my list, there's one thing we can be guaranteed to take the grave and that's our integrity, there's no room for any less, especially in business!! Being a business owner myself I've witnessed instances where a customers negative complaint was completely bogus, a flat out lie, etc....the key to reading negative reviews is consistency, if you start to see consistency with the complaints there's a pretty good chance the reviewer is on to something. So after much thought and reading several reviews about the dealership, I'm not so sure this isn't a tactic that's used, there's just too many oddities just odd that several customers say the same thing? Use your best judgement when proceeding with this business and know there are (7) Audi dealerships within 1.5 hours drive from the Sarasota/Bradenton area.... read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM MANAGEMENT!!!! I bought a car here and while JB, the sales rep, was great, customer service from everyone else has been dismal. They wasted a month figuring out how registration of my car in the state where I live needed to be handled. I'm three months into owning my car and still having to get a temp tag each month. Follow-up from the dealer is nonexistent. I keep wasting my time reminding them and trying to get updates on the status of my registration. They are not proactive in any way. Another former customer informed me that the Service Dept is no different and would submit outrageously high bills for repairs. My advice - go somewhere else. read more

I purchased a 2009 A4 convertible. The car is in great shape so I didn't negotiate at all. The console door was broken so I asked to have it replaced. I was quoted $400.00 and if the dealership installed the door there would be a minimum 1 hour service charge. It would have taken the service dept. minutes to install. After saying to the sales person since I am paying asking price, please include a new console door. Dain did a great job selling the car but the used car manager FLAT out refused. We have 2 Audi's in NY. We love them but I will say that I will never consider purchasing another car from this dealership after the arrogance of the used car manager. read more

Joe went above and beyond and our experience could not have been more peasant. We had to some decisions to make about driving home to Ky or having it shipped, along with a few financing questions. I bought my Audi at Orlando Audi and they made me feel like I was part of a family it wasn't just a sales pitch. They are truly remarkable. When I moved to Sarasota I got a completely different taste in mouth and they give Audi a bad rep. I have bought two brand new Audis in the past 5 years. First the Q7 and second the Q8. Whe. I went to this dealership they where very rude and when I asked why they respond that way I was told because you didn't buy your Audi from us. I thought it was a family If I continue with Audi I 100% will drive all the way to Orlando. I called in for an oil change and they scheduled me for a month and a half out. When the light is on now. I said never mind and called Orlando they got me In the very next day with an equal Q8 loaner as promised. Audi Sarasota doesn't do loaners and is very slow in service. Yes maybe they have to many people me to service but a 1.5 months. Come on. And no excuse for being rude. read more

I purchased a 2010 Acura from this dealer. Disappointed with them as the manager refused to grant a 30 day power train warranty or a 5 day period to allow me to have the car inspected by a mechanic. Most mechanics will tell you that if a dealer takes this position to walk away. I felt rushed by the salesman. As soon as I finished signing the paperwork he got up and left, he said he had another situation to deal with. The customer service needs improvement. This is our 3rd Audi. The experience with the first 2 was great, but our 3rd not! Started out our brand new Q3 had a leak from the sunroof into the electronics and headliner, the car was less than a month old. Dealer stated manufacturer problem. Contacted Audi USA they took 2 months to call back. Was wanting to use their buy back program but said it would not be a good outcome for us. Then never returned calls thereafter. Currently, we went for a tire sensor issue, receptionist gave us an appointment end of April but could give us a loaner (as we have been promised) till June. She was not very accommodating at first and we had to call back for quicker service as this could of been a safety issue. No loaner! We shuffled cars at home took to Q3 into dealer April 13th, stated a nail in tire, Audi does not patch but would replace with a brand new tire quoted $330 dollars. What we got was a tire 15months old according to DOT date. Tire was dirty and appears used. They changed cost to $399. When my husband reminded him of cost agreed upon price went down to $340. I spoke with manager Charles who stated if he could not find us a new 2022 tire, he would refund our money and give me my old tire back. Today he stated he and management talked and his verbal agreement was rescinded. In other words he broke a verbal agreement. DON't buy an Audi. It seems the sales side of this dealership is above average and yet it has one of the worst service departments in the Sarasota Florida Audi service area. Every call is either unanswered or moved to voice mail. Arrogant and condescending and defensive remarks from service writers when calls are returned as they act as if every call is an inconvenience. Unbelievably poor customer perspective as they are solely focused on getting off the phone and processing calls like a McDonalds drive through order process. I have been having warranty work done for over 30 years and they are by far the least customer friendly group out there. hire more people if you need to but answer you phones and quit hiding behind voice mails as a service option . We had been looking for a particular Q5 and determined that Audi Sarasota had one that seemed meet our needs. Arriving not long before closing. Jim Biersmith came out to the lot to greet us. She answered all our questions and was so patient teaching us about this marvelous car. When we left we felt confident we had made the right choice. He refunded my fees and went to extra effort to send me a video of what the mechanic found and a much more clear and correct evaluation. Just purchased my second Q7 from Audi of Sarasota a couple of weeks ago. Loved my first one, but needed the larger 3.0 to tow an Airstream trailer. Joe Winter worked with me to set up the tow package, including the trailer brake system. Past auto purchases were straight forward. This last one required a lot more help coordinating for the trailer and car. Joe walked me through the process and connected me with the service department and the tech specialist. Just towed the trailer for the first time today. It went off like a charm. I could not think of a better sales and service dealership than Audi of Sarasota. read more
