We both settled on the Entrecôte which comes with fries & salad. Medium rare. We have never been anywhere in Europe where they serve any steak cooked longer than medium. My steak was served pretty close to well done and had no flavor. The fries were like bottom of the barrel bits of crunchiness. But they did put a couple of decent ones on top. I ordered a glass of rosé that pretty much tasted like vinegar. It was poured from a bottle that had about 1/4 left in it. My husband had the red which was the very last bit in the bottle and didn't amount to even a glass. The server said that he'd open another and pour some more. That never happened. Service was typical. Price was high for what we received. Truly disappointed. May be fine for a drink or maybe dessert, but I would pass on food.

Based on trip advisor reviews, I ordered the fish soup (which I wouldn't normally order in the states), and the mozzarella/tomato salad - it was great! Our waiter was so friendly and spent time with us recommending different places around the town. I made a reservation beforehand and believe they had given us a waiter who spoke english knowing we were from the US...What a plus this was. It was so good we contemplated going back a second night. Definitely recommend if you'll be in saint remy!

My wife and I went here for our last dinner of our honeymoon and it was an underwhelming experience. First off, the salad was a chopped up leaf with a whole tomato on top of it. What is this, a meal for Plebs? I expect my tomato to be cut more than once. For the main course I had a bowl of couscous with another bowl of oversteamed vegetables. It was like someone was making veggie broth, and then decided, hey, wait, let's sell the leftover veggies with a meal. It was hot, it was messy, it needed a whole bunch of salt to be enjoyed. I would have rather gone to an mediocre reastaurant at the busy part of town, than this place. Oh, did I mention that there was a group of drunks hanging out across the street drinking and peeing on the church? Yeah, that group certianly did not help with our dining experience. Terre de Saveur should be called Terre de manque de goût. (Land of Lack of Taste)

Nice typical family oriented owned restaurant with typical french southern cuisine. Portion are right, and service is well deserved. Highly recommended.

The place is gorgeous inside! we came in last week, and ate inside/outside, so we had a nice cross breeze and ambiance. They have 2 fixed menus, lunch or dinner. for the lunch menu, you get an appetizer, a main and a dessert, AND 2 glasses of wine (red or white) and espresso to finish. all for a VERY reasonable price. this place is Michelin recommended. and deservedly so. you get 2 choices for each dish. the bf and I got the same, and his dad got the shrimp appetizer. pictures to follow. :) fresh Ravioli with mushrooms and parmesan - amazing! Light, uber fresh ravioli pasta, we couldn't get enough of this beurre blanc sauce it came with. we sopped up all the sauce w/ the bread. Lamb. 2 slices of lamb loin, with creme freche wrapped in eggplant, with fingerling potatoes. *these are french potatoes that are lighter than their american counterparts*. Vanilla bean ice cream with meringue cookies and raspberry compote. I'm not a meringue girl, they usually leave a funny feeling on my tongue that i dislike. BUT, the almond meringue cookies they had here, were amazing! I ate 1.5 cookies! (bf only ate 0.5 cookies. i happily finished it off) Banana and chocolate crepe with vanilla bean ice cream. You can tell they make the ice cream on site. 2 glasses wine. Coffee and water. Great price! This place has GREAT value for Amazing food. I have a new favorite place for the south of france too! I will have to come back every time we visit his dad!
