First time I visited Temecula, I stumbled across this cute store and absolutely loved it. It's in the old town part of Temecula so you can't miss it. The shop is owned by this cute French lady. They have a variety of bar soaps, laundry detergent, hand soaps, loofas, hand creams and so much more! We were in Temecula again last weekend and I was so excited to go back and the lady was still there. I bough a couple different items including rose hand cream and body wash. Such a cute shop with an even cuter owner. Came in just to look around, not only did she tell us the back story of how the soaps are made but listens to our needs and makes suggestions from there. The soaps and products are made in France; they are delightful. Each smell is unique and you can tell they use high quality authentic ingredients. A friend has given me a few bars of soap from pervious years. The softness and scent really leaves me feeling clean, fresh and girly. I ended up walking out with some epsom salt bath soak and a Lolita oil perfume & oil. The smell is everything I love, a little hint of citrus, floral, and must. The perfume oil still had a light scent even after my shower. She says they can last a full day and I believe her. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Old Town. read more

This a wonderful new store we discovered in downtown Temecula! It features a variety of French skin care products made in France and imported to Temecula. Bar soap, body wash, even soap for your beloved dog! The owner is French herself and is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products. We were intrigued by the bar soaps. They have a whole wall of these with many unique and intriguing scents. We purchased several to try at home including melon and cotton candy. In the heart of old tow Temecula I stumbled across this gem years because when they first opened shop. The quality and products were phenomenal then. I happened to come back out this way and was very pleased to see that this simple family owned shop survived the pandemic. Customer service is always phenomenal and to me very personable. This recent visit the shop owner actually showed me around the store and how much her little shop has expanded. There's so much to love here. Candles smelled phenomenal, very classic unique affordable perfumes, pet care, skin care, you name it. They have everything you could possibly want or need for an amazing self care day. I have very sensitive skin and the fact there soaps are very natural, fragrances non irritating and also soothing on my winter eczema flair ups I have no complaints . I had went to this store on a Saturday afternoon there was this younger girl who was there with a older gentleman. She welcomed me in the store but as soon as she realized I was a person of color immediately she eyed me like a hawk the entire time I was shopping around the store. She was legit staring at me the entire time as if I was gonna steal something. I ended up purchasing a soap but this lady was very hostile and seemed fake. She seemed so racist and rude. Disappointed because the last time I came in was last year and there was another woman who owned the shop she was a lot more welcoming and friendly. Not sure if I'll step foot here again. read more

I was surprised how nice the Lavender soap turned out. We should have gotten some more. I guess we'll have to order it online and have them shipped to us instead. While we were in the store there were a couple asking for soap that is for sensitive skins. The store owner takes them to look at a couple of options which mean they do have a product for it. One of the best collections of soaps I have seen. I spotted this shop while walking around on front street and decided to check them out. These soaps are made in France and have been manufactured for over 600 years. There's a video playing in the store with the history of the soaps. I purchased five bars which included Jasmin, Monoi and Citron. All smell delightful. The bars were about $5 each and considering the quality and use I got , I would definitely purchase these soaps again. The lady who assisted me was extremely helpful and welcoming. Located in Old Town Temecula, this is a plain store that sells soap. Not a boutique. Just a store with cheap lighting. There's a mural but I would not call the place cute nor charming. They do sell their own soap. Supposedly it's imported from France, but honestly there's no way to tell whether the soaps are authentic or fake, so just keep that in mind. Great quality products, a wide variety of soaps, and hygiene products and the store owner gives great advice. I am now only shaving with her Savon de Marseille and my skin is much better. Since I was out and the store is far from where I live, I tried to buy Savon de Marseille from Amazon, I tried 2 different Amazon sellers and I had to return both because they smelled bad and did not come even close to the quality and feeling of those sold in this shop. When I went to the store with a girlfriend today,the owner/sales person wouldn't let us meander around, smelling and enjoying the soaps and candles. The store has a great selection and you can end up spending a lot of time in there smelling everything. I should have given this shout out a while ago..a few weeks back we walked the streets of Old Town and stumbled into a store that we had never been, Au Savon De Provence. It is a lovely store run by a kind couple. Eager to help our small businesses we purchased a few things we normally wouldn't. This was the big one. At $25 for a 32oz bottle I was hesitant but my "better half" wanted to try it. The lady told me that I could use it for almost anything and she was right! I have it in a spray bottle diluted with water which I use for small "mishaps" and to spray the outside and inside plants to keep pests away. I wash the floors and they have never looked better (no streaks). I wash walls, cars, furniture, truly anything with this stuff. And no need to rinse. The smell is amazing and you only need a teaspoon worth to fill a bucket. We also bought a couple other items...a bar of soap that is antibacterial and oil infused for the kitchen and it has become everyone's favorite to wash their hands in the house; leaves your hands with a soft non-oily feeling....a few naturally scented bath bars which seem to last at least 8 weeks each and smell wonderful! The clerk was extremely helpful, she was able to answer all my questions and helped guide me based on what scents I liked. I liked this personal touch but I know it's not for everyone. I walked into this store earlier today to check it out and was glad I did. The owner of the shop was very friendly and helpful when it came to explaining the available products. I especially loved the tattoo balm she introduced me to, which in addition to smelling great, really helped preserve the color of my tattoos. Unfortunately, I didn't purchase any this time around, but I most certainly will next time I swing by the area. What I did ended up purchasing, however, was some body wash and bar soap, along with a sea sponge which all smelled amazing. My friend bought me a rose petal exfoliating bar of soap and it was lovely. So, I decided to order more online and it has been 6 days since I have ordered 4 rose petal and 2 lavender bars.
