Great budget hostel/hotel! My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in late June and had a great experience. You just have to know what you're getting for the money so you're not surprised. I will list the pros and cons
Pros:
--Conveniently located near the Paris metro. You can also walk about 20 minutes to get to the busier central areas
--Not touristy. You will see a lot of locals shopping and sitting in cafes
--There's a big park a few blocks away that has a food market twice a week
--Good food around. A bunch of bakeries and cafes
--Quiet street, so it's nice to sleep away from the bustle of Paris
--Staff is friendly and keep an eye on every floor with cameras
--Even if your room doesn't have a bathroom, there's a sink so you can brush your teeth without leaving the room
--There's a fridge so you can buy fruit and store it during your stay
Cons
--Wifi is unreliable. It didn't work any of the days we were there
--Bathrooms and showers are generally up or down a flight of stairs, depending where you are
A great find in Paris. Stay here and spend the money you're saving on food instead :-) read more
